Currently... Malz press space aids, Malz win lane. Malz press space aids, Malz win in CS. Malz press R, gank 100% successful. Malz press space aids, Malz roam bot, becaue he doesn't even have to be in the lane to get all the CS.
His kit is overpowered considering it isn't gated behind any kind of skill whatsoever.
I don't think he needs to be nerfed, I think his space aids needs to be reworked into something less free winny.

Instead of not respecting him, why dont you respect him? Instead of letting his voidlings push, why dont you kill them? Instead of letting him keep his shield up, why dont you pop it? Instead of picking someone who isnt mobile why dont you pick someone that is? Instead of letting his E leap to you, why dont you not let it? Instead of letting him refresh his E or even simply Q you, why not learn to dodge it?
Malzahar is an anti-snowball champion. His ENTIRE thing is "im going to stall the lane for as long as possible or get an advantage and start winning it so you arent as effective." Hes also in a very precarious situation balance wise. Hes fairly well balanced right now, but any nudge in either direction could easily break him. Further, his skillshot - his Q - is very easy to dodge and his E is 500 or so cast range if i recall. Most mages have 550 or higher attack range, and your spells for sure out range him.

Roots, stuns and slows are your counter to his ultimate and you're denied by his shield.
I don't feel bad about being beat by Ahri, Fizz, or a Zed even. I feel like beyond watching your range, you can actually play against them. Malz you don't really "fight" though.
NTrumpWeTrust1 votesI play a lot of malz and yeah he needs some changes. His staying power is just too broken after he gets lost chapter. There's almost no way to interact with him in lane if he decides he doesn't want to fight you. I would be down for changing him and giving him a more niche role with more aspects that require skill and time to master.
