So Shen is next on the gameplay update list?
what do they want to do to him o.O
what do they want to do to him o.O
I do not know.... Imo he is fine as is and i have had alot of success with him in my games personally. However some people have told me he is a weak pick (i dont see how)
Someone else made a more valid point to me the other day and stated that he scales off AP but no one usually builds ap on him. Maybe they will make his abilities scale off hp or something?
Also, unconfirmed but i heard his E and R are staying the same.
I think he should just stay the same. He is played a lot even in professional play so it obviously means that he is balanced, fun to play and a good fit that can fit a lot of teamfights
Being picked in professional play doesn't mean any of those things.
AP Shen is freaking awesome.
RIOT has stated that Shen will probably be next, as Taric is going to be a major overhaul, where Shen is getting a game play update with some minor visual changes to go with it:
Shen will receive a new Passive, Q and W. RIOT has stated that "their function will remain mostly the same." So Im guessing something will be for damage, something for sustain, and something for mitigation.
E and R will remain "mostly" the same. Im hoping for his E to deal damage to minions and monsters (see warlord shen skin splash art) and that he will get some kind of new thematic passive on his ultimate. "Eye of Twilight", do something with that RITO!
They have also stated that their overall goal is to make Shen's kit and laning phase more interactive and not so binary.
That is everything I have heard (as well as some of my own input). Hope this clears it up. HE WILL STILL BE A TANK. :)
Actually I Think Taric Is Next.

Poppy was just released, so that would make Shen next, at least according to their website.
Maybe make him less braindead and overpowered. Id hope so
Shen has always had an issue similar to Kassadin that if he is ever competitively viable he's oppressive. When he's weak he's noticeably so and no one plays him, but when he is strong, he dominates lane, seems virtually unkillable, usually wins lane, and has complete and total map control similar to TF.
I think i read somewhere they want to keep his primary role as a tank but make his gameplay fit more to his theme (ninja.) because his current kit is all over the place. Don't quote me on this. xD
