Is nasus supposed to be a end boss type fight anymore?

Bultz··7 votes·1,066 views

A serious question. Like really, I can build full tank, over 500 stacks, go for a 1v1 and just barely survive, never mind tanking a boss type fight anymore. The one trait nasus excels in, or is supposed to, is toughness. I get rekt beginning of game, i get rekt end of game. If I am lucky I will single out an opponent for a 1v1 somewhere in between.

I find it's easier to counter Nasus Late game if your team has enough CC to just be able to kite him, as you do to most juggernauts. Another option i use, each time i'm laning a top juggernaut is to pick Trundle, as his ult can just slice though his HP.

He did nothing but get those 1100 stacks most likely

Just put 2 tanks on me, Nasus has no pen so if you face a tank with 300 armor, he only deals 25% damages. Put an adc behind to him me while the 2 tanks are chaining cc and slows and the adc kittes and it's over.

You think so? He's fairly well balanced atm sitting at right around 50% win rate. Also most of us who main him find him satisfying and his kit while simple has it's own deep mastery to play well and efficiently.

How exactly would you rework him? Most believe that his power over time is core to his identity. I think it would be awesome if they gave him a fear when he ults near enemy units and champions. Allowing him to make use of CoC and giving him a bit more utility. Either that or give him % Armor shred instead of flat on his E so he scales better later.

The cute little item 3814 item 3147 item 3142 item 3036 build that most carries and AD junglers and building definitely doesn't help, but if they build cheese like that, you can probably just wither, walk up and one hit them with a Q.

Unless it's really odd circumstances, though. A 500 stack Nasus full tank late game is looking at ~4.5k health and 150 resists and your Q will probably 2 shot anyone who isn't a tank.

If my recent games are any notion, Raid Boss Nasus is still a very serious and absolutely obnoxious threat. You really can't be shut down without full team effort by the enemy and let's face it, it's soloqueue.

nasus is more of a siege machine splitpusher nowadays

I've noticed that the only team comps that really beat Nasus are poke comps who can deal heavy DPS from out of his range and prevent him from tanking tower. If you've got a mostly melee team with only 1 or 2 poke champs, then you can kiss your objectives goodbye.

end boss

I've never heard of a lategame champ described as that.

That's what he is supposed to be. Playing as Nasus and watching your enemies flee from you because you are like a final raid boss is hilarious.

500 stacks late game

Traditional q max nasus should be over 700 stacks by late game, 500 means u just got bullied wsy too hard early.

Nasus has always been a mid-game and split-push threat due to his stacks, Sheen and resistances.

  • He tends to fall off rather severely in teamfights due to his susceptibility to kiting.
  • He tends to fall off in late-game since carries will have their penetration and defensive items.

He is a monster in mid-game skirmishes and duels before opponents build resistances and percentage penetration. Afterwards, he can splitpush and threaten objectives, but he has trouble contributing in teamfights.

I don't get many stacks with him. Maybe even in a good game 400. But I don't farm all game either. I help my team win when I can. And I win with him more or less then I ever lose. I don't let my team get stomped while I farm and hope to make it late game. I'm not the greatest Nasus but I think he's a beast when played with his team more than trying to be a late game carry.

Isn't Nasus more of a mid-game beast really? Even with infinite stacking he seems to sort of fall off by the 40 minute mark in my experience.
