Silver is better than Diamond to low Masters in their entirety

Low Diamond is full of terrible players with insane egos and horrible attitudes. High Diamond to low Masters is almost the same except with more competency in controlling characters. And due to the small number of players, animosity between recurring sights grow very fast and people will troll each other rather than try to win. Often...

Silver by comparison? People might not play as good arguably but they have great attitudes and mentality and that makes it better in my eyes.

This is from the perspective of someone who's hovered Diamond 3 - 1 for four years now and has been playing on and off on a smurf.

Why is your smurf silver elo? O.o

because the purpose of it is to examine Silver/Bronze and I deliberately keep it down.

you know that's a bannable offense right? you're deliberately throwing the game for your teammates and/or unintentionally boosting the enemy team

I am not him but if he is just going afk letting his team remake is not a bannable offense, of course just if he is doing this.

Sorry but what? Silver is not better than diamond and definitely not better than low masters.

Attitude has little to do with anything. Do people at high elos tend to have egos? Yes, but so do people at low elos who think that they are better than everyone around them and deserve to be higher ranked.

No, the Silvers I played with were very chill

"my experience trumps everything else"

My experience in silver was having the same lee sin jungle five games in a row, where he consistently did bad in all five games

not having anyone ping anything the entire game

0-10 botlane (I actually made numerous clubs with the name "Thanks botlane" for each occasion, we're up to V6 now)

and that's it since now i consistently place gold most of the time. Does this trump his experience?

well I mean I AM the one actually playing in high Diamond and not just observing it and giving impressions. You can definitely believe me.

Your experience means nothing since I see people with egos in every single elo bracket. I see people constantly being toxic in every single elo bracket.

Just like there are people who always get toxic teammates there are those who barely see them in their games. That doesn't mean anything from any point of view other than "your experience might be different from mine".

Egos exist no matter if you are playing in bronze or in challenger. People doing stupid shit and playing like boosted monkeys exist no matter what elo you are playing. Claiming as a fact that one elo is better than another when it's inferior in terms of skills just due to personal experience is stupid due to how insanely varied experiences can be from person to person

well my perspective from playing against people in all elos is that toxicity levels are relatively equal across most ranks, and I think that the idea that people get more toxic as you get higher in rank is mostly perpetuated by the fact that games get harder to carry as you climb higher because people are better. So for example, if you are a diamond smurf climbing through silver, things seem a lot less toxic than they would to you in diamond because the games are easier and people are generally nicer and get along better if they are winning. In diamond, you are much closer to your actual skill level. Not every game is a stomp, games are harder to carry and therefore there are more arguments because games tend to be closer. I think that probably whatever skill level you are, the most toxic elo for you will be right where your skill level caps [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]
