Matchmaking is incredibly accurate.
Every one of my grouped games today has been against equally skilled opponents. Just look guize im diamond V. My team just feeds too hard for me to carry in solo-Q. :-)

Aram, solo sr and ranked sr have separate mmrs.

Hahaha! I got a kick out of this. It's true though, the matchmaking system currently in use is sometimes absolutely awful. Sometimes it is good, sometimes it's miserable but that is what you get when you have a system PURELY based on win/loss (MMR) and really doesn't care about whether or not you are dropping wards, not getting 0/10 every game, being involved in kills (assists), taking towers down, CSing properly. Nope, just wins, that's all that matters. Except in ranked! There you get placed far below where you belong and have to win most of your games as you are matched with opponents much higher than you (Since your opponents are based on MMR and not current rank) to climb to where you belong although you will be facing people far above you by the time you get to that point... Actually, everyone should just be challenger before they start ranked.
Was this ranked 5s? It would make sense then...
haha, its aram
why are you complaining about a game mode you shouldn't take seriously?

if you're telling me their diamond/plat players are as bad as our bronzies, i find that hilarious. they weren't bad though they steamrolled us.

its more relevant than you think, our one bronzie had problems with basic game mechanics on annie.
dat ranked win rate
ikr who woulda thought i would be placed vs high gold/low plat MMR
Diamond V 0 LP probably means they got boosted so they are most likely your skill level, silver/bronze. Same goes for Plat V often.
It's fine - Annie and Brand are the only summoners with experience on their champion. Bronze 5 can beat a Diamond 5, right?
Matchmaking does weird things when there is a premade group with someone that isn't lvel 30 yet combine that with the probability that the daimond/plat players might haven't played ARAM a lot which means their MMR for the gamemode is likely pretty low, that's how you get weird matches.
What site is that screenshot from?
Well, here's a summoner's rift match
