You neglected to mention that he was 6 and 1 on kills and was out farming Ziggs so he was stacking like crazy... Fed carries can buy items... happens with all champs.

500 AP at 16 minutes? I usually get around 750 by then.

Why was he allowed to farm is the question?

Lost a game to a Nasus the other day. I saw that his stacks are rising inexorably. So I asked my top laner at 16 minutes (who was playing defensive as fuck and didn't even try to harass Nasus away from the minions):

"Uhhh. Why are you feeding Nasus?" "WTF DOOD I HAB 0 DEATHS" [Nasus had like 380 stacks] "Erm you're letting him stack freely? Nasus doesn't need kills to get fed. He can 1v5 even if he's 0-3, if he farms his Q enough." "WTF DUDE NASUS NOT FED HE HAS 0 KILLS" [Nasus reached ~1000 stacks shortly after and proceeded to roflstomp on everyone, including our turrets on every lane] "OMG GUYS HE LEFT TOP AND YOU ALL FEED HIM SO MANY KILLS" "Dude he already had like 800 stacks" "YEAH BUT U FEED HiM AND NOW HE'S OP" "He was already fed, you let him get 800+ stacks and more items completed than any of us" "OMG I REPORT U"

I think some people don't even realize how champions work. They can't see that Kindred, Veigar, Nasus, even Karthus WILL shit on everyone as the game drags on. Kindred is the newest addition to the team.

Squishy and low damage in the beginning of the game, they often die several times. Team refuses to kill the marked neutrals to slow their stacking, later on they ignore the marks and keep overextending. Even though they die easily, the Kindred are able to stack, and finally reach 10-15 stacks fairly quickly. Then they proceed to murder everyone in 2 seconds. "OMG KINDRED OP RITO PL0x"
