One of the things that I enjoyed about the old champion select was as soon as my champion was locked in I could choose my skin right away. Why am I forced to wait til the very end to choose? I know this is a minor issue but it still makes zero sense. Especially considering in blind pick you can choose your skin right away.

Actually, if you select a skin for a traded teammate, and you both own it, it gives you the skin the teammate selected.
So you can switch skins before trade. Sort of. Or at least pick the skin you want them to use.

Scryble1 votesIt may be because they simply overlooked it, otherwise it might be so you can observe both your and the enemy's team composition and change accordingly, such as whenever I play Fiora, if we lack tanks, I tend to bring a tankier rune page and a corresponding mastery page, as the same with when we have 2 tanks.
