7 game loss streak, how to end it?

Hello, lost 7 ranked games in a row. Cant end it, need help. First 5 games spirit was high and Iwas trying to win. Believe I had 3 disconnects in those 5 games, all in my team. my team been firstblodded every game except 1. Help me.

Loss streak ended! 7 loss was the streak and that is not a record, my record is 11 I believe. Finally I just got pissed, traded in a bunch of champion shards to get thresh, cause thats a support that can do something at least <- Our jungler said "gg udyr and thresh" and that was it...

So, how can I make sure this never happen?

Also, for some strange reasons. Today all disconnects has been in my team <- so far 0 in enemy team.

I just got flamed by my ADC, Im playing thresh support.... he doesnt want me trying to hook and play aggressive, I died 0 times and got 1 assist so far. I went top to get a kill... not fun.

And first death from a kayn gank in mid when I got my second assist on enemy midlaner.

Yay our jungler said "GG udyr and thresh" ... Udyr ran it down mid and ended the game.. FInALLY 7 loss streak broken... so I went from 70% winratio and gold 1 to 49% and low gold 2 <- GG matchmaking . Still, looking for help so this will never happen again <-hopefully.

Enemy team had a bronze 4.... so our toplaner went 6-0 earlygame, our jungler, mid and adc fed their ass off... total: 1-5 + 4-9 + 3-10 = 8-24 from jungler mid and adc <- Again... I dont know how to win these games. Enemy team had Fiddle Heimer bot... Idk, a gank bot and we would have won perhaps, maybe? Got demoted as well <- from high gold 1 70% winratio to now under 49% winratio and gold 3 <- Again, good job with the matchmaking riot.

My man. Good that you looked at my match history, some research is allways good. Why are you pretending that you can understand a 40 min game from 1 min read of shady data? <- That is rather unique ability.

Since you did watch my match history, please tell me what happen in those game and why Im the one to blame for the losses <- I dont think you can, I think you see someone with a somewhat bad score like 1-5-5 <- He must be bad, right? It cant be that he is playing a role where he cant 1v1 anyone <- (Fact) , he is squishy and not a tank <-(fact) and he is not getting the resources <- (Support, fact)

Honestly, I played decent. But that's not the problem. In 9 out of 10 games I could not change the outcome of that game <- Feel free to watch the games themselves and give me 1 timestamp where Icould have played perfectly to win the game <- You wont find it and thats the thing.

The only situation I was able to do something was a 2v4 against enemy team. My team had a fed udyr, so all I had to do was CC their CCers <- I did and he got a tripple or quadra <-

So to answer your quseiton in short: Im not, you are wrong and feel free to prove me wrong about this <- THank you for your time and cooperation.

First game today, mid going 0-4 in a winning game and went afk... so 4 dcs in a row in my team 0 in enemy team <- Why is this?

Second game start, I get pinged straight away cause Im not in game the first 20 seconds... but okey. Then I get told Im a troll... I should play a certain way (when I tell players how to play I got banned, but I get told all the time how to play, I report for this but they never get banned, strange) .

Im thresh, I need to hook people, I have shields and slows and cc... Thresh can fight. But my adc tell me to stop fighting... even though its even or we might be stronger.

For some strange reason not a single adc that I have played with understand this "gold plating" <- Whenever we kill enemy team they back and dont cash in on the plating <- and I cant tell them this cause then riot punishes me.

So to me this game is very strange... I got a "feedback" option after that game. "Lol is my favorite game" from agree to disagree <- Like wtf? Anyone have lol as their favorite game? Pocket ping-pong is more fun then LOL.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to end this streak? about to queue up for my 5th loss that I cant do anything about. Last game my teams jungler went 2-13 <- Enemy top laner got a penta kill and there is nothing I can do about this. I ward, I focus the correct targets , I dont feed <- What more can I do? As of now, Im just taking the losses like a man <-

Okey, this 7th game is a sure loss as well... Mid is feeding, top is asking for ganks nad our jungler (Kha zix) is farming the jungle, 0 ganks... enemy team got all turrets within 15 min = 3x tower plating... again, how do I win games?

If you are only wanting wins from the Support position, you have to take matters into your own hands. Zyra Velkoz Xerath Veigar

Thing is, I have most games as a adc or support player <- I can probably win lane as a mid/top but that will result in my bot feeding a lot. Also Im a creative player and I want to play thresh support. I think he is fun and somewhat strong.

I dont own any of those champions except soraka... Soraka would not have been able to win a single game for me <-

Yeah about to take a small break now to get something to eat... have not eaten for 8 games <-

Soraka is better for lower elo. You have a 68% winrate on her too out of 20 games.

You have only won 1 out of 10 thresh games and almost all of those games are your current losing streak. There is a statistical pattern there that shouldn't be ignored.

The safe bet is to ban brand or blitzcrank and pick soraka. You are good on soraka. Play with what you are good at not what is fun. If you only play for fun then this thread is pointless.

This is true. I climbed with Soraka <- But its not a fun champion. In all the games I have played and lost, I cant recall soraka being a better pick or would have made us win any of those games. <-

My thresh is good, really good. I have logged well past 3000 aram games(not only thresh), my hooks/skillshots are really accurate and my dodge is almost at a pro-level... What Im lacking really is mechanics hence why I dont like mid,adc and top. Thresh is perfect for this, also leona <- These are my 2 main supports, unforunally I dont have leona on my account and she is rather expensive to unlock.

I play for fun, Im too old to be competative and especially in a game where the support doesnt support <- I used to be a semi-professional counter-strike player, not going back to that grind.

No the thread is not pointless at all. Im looking to end this madness. from my understanding riot wants a 50/50 game, but according to my stats its closer to 5/95 <- and to me this doesnt make any sense what so ever.

I am going to play at least 1 more game tonight , hopefully I have brand or velkoz or something and I try a mage support. hopefully I dont get flamed to hell nor reported for toxicity... In one of the lol highlight clips of the day videos (from today) someone explains that soraka is useless in low elo and that people should play annie <- cause well silver players cant even climb out of bed <- his words among others.

The thread is pointless if you aren't going to listen or play to win instead of play for fun. You can't play for fun and play to win at the same time. You have to choose one.

Maybe your Thresh is good, but it CLEARLY isn't good enough. And even if your Thresh is AMAZING for your elo, you still have no agency over the game when your ADC is too trash to take advantage of your play making ability. You are HELPING the enemy team win if your Thresh isn't good ENOUGH and they have a Mage Support like Brand. You can literally do nothing on a team that gets behind vs a Mage Support. The Mage Support will keep scaling and you will remain reliant on allies who are incapable of winning the game. Even more so in this current meta where Supports carry bot lanes, not the ADC's. ADC's have very little agency over the lane right now with Mage Supports being overkill OP in this elo.

If you are playing for fun, there is zero reason to complain about not winning when that isn't your primary goal. It just makes you whiny.

Play these champions, or stop wasting time by complaining and not listening...

Please, I have stated every time that I am playing to win <- I have to or else I get banned its in the rules of this game <- I can still play to win while trying to have fun <- I have not picked a single "troll champion" in a "troll role" <- Except for one game where I picked Heimer support <- It went okey lane but other lanes got destroyed.

Again, this thread is not at all pointless as I did listen and I did in fact play brand last game <- you can look at my match history and see this for yourself.

My Thresh is not only good, its close to godly, doesnt matter. So far I believe I have not faced a single bard support.

Note that Im not complaning , Im asking for help <- These are 2 very different things. I am complaning that the match-making system is obviously flawed but Im looking for help regarding ending this loss streak <-

Okey, lost that game as well... they got 3 barons and my adc asked my team to report me, I reported him and hopefully he gets punished for "reportcalling" <- somethng I was banned for previously.

Once again Im seeking help breaking this loss-strak. Its 8 games today and 8 losses <- If my math is correct. I went from 1800mmr to 1500.

Okey this next game I feel positive about. My team: Kennen,wukong, lux, xayah Bramd(me) Enemy Team: teemo, Ivern, Syndra, Draven, morgana kinda equal MMR for both teams, enemy morgana have 64% winratio <- best player. Lets see how this goes.

Yeah ofc we lost... I died the most but thats kinda due to their comp and my team didnt ward at all... when I went to ward drake or baron I got caught<- well 1 more game , 9 losses in a row now. Will it be 10 this time?

Ahh, they just disabled ranked <- Maybe thats for the best... so in the last 2 days I have played 9+9 games. 1 win and 17 losses in 18 games <- This is after I was 70% winratio high gold 1 <- Im currently gold 4 with 15lp.

I did try to play brand, didnt really help. This time it was mostly cause of wukong who kept ganking top, even though Draven in botlane was the problem, he had a morgana to support him so me an xayah couldnt really do anything, with help from our jungler (wukong) we could have won the lane and game. Once again, it would not have matter if I played a perfect game with brand <-

Take ignite instead of exhaust when you’re playing Thresh, Blitz, or Brand.

A lot of my teammates have told me that exhaust is better when against Zed, but I’ve found that’s mainly winning your lane is more important than trying to carry late game when you’re playing Thresh.

Start building CDR instead of just tankiness. It looks like the maximum CDR you’ve reached is 20%, even after you’re level 11. In the words of BunnyFuFuu, Thresh is more of a CC caster than just a straight up tank.

If you want to make more plays (since you claim your hookrate is really good), getting CDR by rushing kindlegem against AP to build into Spirit Visage late game or Glacial Shroud against AD to build into Righteous Glory late game will help your laning phase A LOT.

You probably already know this, but Thresh powerspikes at level two. You can use this, but more often the chances come when your enemies get too confident. The hooks I hit the most are hitbox curves around/between minions and ones in chases because I know where they would dodge - the more you play him the easier enemies are to read.

Know what your abilities are capable of. For example, saving flay if the enemy has a Zac to stop him from 4-man knocking your trash teammates. Using it to stop Khazix jump or deny Tristana jump.

Also,

TL;DR:

-Take ignite

-rush CDR

-hit hooks

-and obviously, make the right calls. This can be difficult because 1. Your teammates may not cooperate, and 2. It can be hard to tell the right call at times. Sometimes it’s crystal clear, like when the whole enemy team is aced and none of your minions are close to their tower, to go for baron or drake.

Okey so today first and only game? I play Blitz cause thresh was banned. I win lane easy, we get 3 barons and like 5 drakes, 1 elder drake <- We still cant win cause my team keeps making stupid calls like "group as 5" <- vs a twitch . I ping for help while being chased down by ad nasus <- Noone helps me. Our jungler keeps getting caught out, in lane <- Its like a clown fiesta <- A clown fiesta that I cant change. I landed about 60% of the hooks, doesnt matter.Enemy adc had 9 deaths due to my hooks, but still a loss <- cant win in this game

Okey, in the last 20 games I have won 1 <- The last 2 games has been the closest. This last game my ADC (Ashe) fed her ass off, really bad positioning. I won botlane for us , having 3-1-1 after 10 min <- Ashe went 0-5 before getting her first kill. Ohh, I was playing thresh, my hooks were deadly but it doesnt matter what so ever <- We had fed toplaner and a zed... but since we didnt have adc and enemy team did it was really hard game and we eventually lost after a lost teamfight, they get baron and then ended due to high damage on adc that can just wreck towers fast <-

Jungler (rengar) made the claim he was diamond 4... basically boosing that account. <- He didnt understand that splitpushing as a jungler was bad, I did try to explain to him that he could never protect drake if he is top nor steal baron if he is bot <- Thats when he started to bring up my statistics for some strange reason... yes I died 11 times cause you were not in a single fight, every teamfight was 4v5. <- But yay I won! Only had to endure all of that... so I can win as ADC cait if I have decent support <- Enemy adc was rather bad but enemy support good <-
