Just played a 2v5...

So, I just played a game that was probably the WORST out of all the games i've ever played. So it started out fine, their Ahri was afk, our team had 5 people. about 5-10 minutes in however my supp left saying that she "had to go", shortly afterwards our top left also saying that she "had to go", our jungler left at the same time because they left and all that was left was mid and adc. Few minutes later ahri came back and then we eventually lost (like 8 minutes later).

I just want to know... with all these leaver buster changes WHY ISN'T IT WORKING? There have been far more afks then I've seen in games with the old leaver buster than with this one. Also why when we get down to 2/3 people aren't we allowed to surrender before 20 minutes? I understand if only 1 person is afk but if 2 or more winning becomes a bit more far fetched.

I just think that riot needs to crack down on leavers a bit more than before.

Sweet mother of mercy.... not even going to talk about your KDA...

In my last... I can't even count games I've had zero afk's. They must all be in your games, thanks for that.

I've never been in a scenario where 3 people are afk... so can't help you on why the surrender doesn't work.

I personally play to have fun, and a 2v5 sounds like an opportunity to show how I awesome I can be.

Yeah it actually wasn't bad, me and gragas enjoyed talking and we managed to hold out surprisingly well for a 2v5, so I wouldn't say it was a bad experience, but its never fun to have 3 afks xD

Edit: Also the KDA was because I was getting shit on by sivir bot because her spellshields blocked my Acid Hunters and Noxian Corrosive charges, and Sona's poke hurts like nuts.

The leaverbuster is actually a lot more effective than before. Once you leave a match or 2, you get a long ass penalty time from playing a match. Some ranges from 5 minutes to 20 minutes before you can enter the champion selection screen. The leaverbuster doesn't (and can't) prevent leavers from leaving the match, but I can assure you that the leaverbuster is much more punishful than before.

I use to chronically leave because of important stuff interfering in my life, and I sorta lost the will to play a LoL match after because I can't stand waiting 20 minutes just to play 1 match. Not to mention you have to face this 5 different times until it's over.

Because Leaverbuster doesn't prevent people from playing the game, it just makes them wait longer before getting into a match. Plus, if they honestly had to go, there's not much that can be done. There's a difference between someone who's a chronic AFKer and someone who really, honestly, just had something come up that's more important than an online game and you have no way of knowing if this is their first offense.

I'm sorry this happened to you. However....you DO realize there's a problem with your behavior and how you're viewing things right? I mean look no further than this sentence "So it started out fine, their Ahri was afk, our team had 5 people.". I'm glad you got something out of it and it wasn't a terrible experience for you...but please remember to also put yourself in the heads of your opponents when they have AFKs.

I understand how that sentence could be taken very wrong, I didn't mean that I was happy that their Ahri was afk and we had an obvious advantage, because thats what it really sounds like... tbh I wasn't paying attention to anything besides botlane that much because of how bad I was doing so I didn't even know she was afk until our 3 people left...

The craziest game i've ever won, was 3 vs 5 on my bronze 5 smurf.

the most unbelievable part was that we actually were down 10 kills my 2 teammates left
