Now go tell all those complaining about Sona building Rabadon or Lux getting frost queen claim+ full AP and show them how many options they have besides that! Go tell the world why all the supports that scale their utility with AP are overshadowed by tank supports and mages! :D

Riot needs to just give support Mana Regen Utility scaling instead or in compensation for the AP scalings, so we can actually benefit from stacking the shit out of it past 1 item.

Most supports especially ranged ones and in particular Soraka do not have the best hp5 Soraka actually has the worst ironically whilst probably being the one most likely to grab stuff like athenes + a bunch of other mana regen items
Mind you it gives % bonus hp regen equal to your % bonus mana regen so if you grab 100% mana regen you now also gain 100% health regen
Which is 11 in Sorakas case but 23,1 in Alistars case.

First: Mages playing support are kinda dominating support role. Second: we do not want to buff them, but prevent nerf. Third: In the end support has been degraded to ADCs personal slave, so all matters little. Fourth: All this messy item gutting hurts both mages and supports.

A few seasons ago supports indeed were ward slaves and that's it but you definitely can't complain anymore telling you are an adcs "personal slave". If you don't roam, your fault.
BastionKross1 votesSupports used to be much less than they are now. However, they're still second class citizens compared to other roles. There's nothing wrong with demanding more agency from a role that is behind all the others.
And there's certainly no reason to deny supports that agency simply because they're better off now than before. That's like giving black people the right to vote when previously they did not, but only letting their votes count as 2/5ths of a normal vote. It's still not right.

and this will make people buy it? geez what would i prefer? an item that gives me a shit ton of MR along with a massive shield for my team or something that gives me more armor... that i can get in a ton of items anyways and an active that affects minions? this sure is a difficult decision

Which is pretty significant, since Knight's Vow has 0 MR and only gives more Armor than Locket if you're near your partner. CotC is very self-focused, Knight's Vow is focused around protecting one person, but Locket is focused on team fights. It is much more impactful for the entire team, especially late game, than Knight's Vow or CotC are.
Basically, those three things serve three different play-styles - Knight's Vow for Warden play-styles (you have to stick close to your adc and protect them), CotC for Vanguard play-styles (initiating fights in the middle of the enemy), and Locket for people who play in-between - they focus on protecting the entire team in fights, not just one person, and may or may not initiate.

And honestly, my initial comment was half a joke, but there isn't more than 4-5 options for most kind of items...
You want Armor as a Tank? Randuin/Sunfire/Deadman/Thornmail/FrozenHeart You want MR as a Tank? Spirit/Banshee/Solari/ZZrot You want AS+Crit? The 4 Zeal upgrades You want lifesteal as an ADC? Bloodthirster/Mercurial/BotRK/Death's Dance You want a semi-offensive item with some HP? The 3 Jaurim upgrades or Black Cleaver You want Lethality and high AD? The 3 Dirk upgrades. You want AD and CDR? Cleaver/Maw/Death's Dance/Youmuu
Whatever kind of item you want, you pretty much never have more than 4 or 5 choices.

I like getting late game sometimes, but yea.
I which they would give back the slow scaling on Q now that the damage is a joke. :/
Also, her Q isn't really for Poke as it is for the slow, has been for a while. Maxing Q for poke on Lulu hasn't been a smart move since season 5.
You get more reliable Poke and shielding from maxing E. Even W is should be maxed before Q, since you get the attack speed and MS boost from putting points into it. All you get from Q is base damage.
