Trick,

Been watching you stream since about season 2.

Nobody doubts the fact that you are good. You've been challenger for a while. Its no secret that you have a certain way of playing the game. Your own style if you will. And you've dedicated your life to teaching this to new players. I too have at times have tried to play the way you do.

For the love of god though, your fans, especially in bronze-gold are just bad. They try to "go gates" and end up just getting themselves caught and smashed. They have no concept of map control, pressure, objective control, buff timers, when to go in, and when to run, warding, build order, hell i swear half of them never hit tab to see what is going on.

I understand that people rage at you, they hate on you, they cuss you out, because of these players. They do not understand that what you are doing, is NOT what they are doing.

I know its not directly your fault, but your encouragement of this "neglectful" play style is harmful to teams, and at my elo is counter-productive and leads to more losses, and toxic behavior.

While they are screwing around at 1/10 with 50 cs at the 20 minute mark in the wrong part of the jungle thinking they are applying pressure, their teams are falling far behind, and constantly getting 4v5'd

bro I love your face, you are a very entertaining jungler, and streamer, but come at it from another direction. Until these players understand the very basics of the game, they are nothing but raging feeding toxic players, who scream at their teams for them getting caught doing "the gates" saying they "only got caught because my scrub team has no idea how to play!!"

yelling this all caps after they die trying to solo an inhib tower with a frozen heart, triforce and rageblade.

Perhaps for your next "my way" you can start with a bot game, showing how to last hit, how to use the tab function, how to use wards, and at what point they need to group, and when its appropriate to "afk bot"

Sincerely, Lance, a long time fan.

Not his fault people are too bad to make use of his advices. Cause what he teaches is actually pretty valuable.

I tried to make that clear, but people are obviously not getting the ideas he teaches. Even in some of his videos he says why people hate him "because of THIS udyr right here!"

I actually watch most of his vids, I do think there are some things you can learn from. I actually remember a vid where he spectated a fan, the guy didn't smite his gromp. He smited blue. This resulted in Trick making turkey and puppy noises. It was pretty enjoyable :P

That does tell you something though. People are watching his videos and streams, try to copy him but forget about all the details they should be paying attention to. summoner 31

Honestly I miss Tricks old way of teaching people how to play the game, you sometimes see it once in a while but these days Trick dedicates more toward comedy then actual guides.

Tricks style is a very valuable solo que strat to learn.

When you know 4 out of 5 people on your team are legit hard core bad, you being the one who is not, you have to learn 2 things.

1-how to take control of objectives 2-how to take control of team fights by yourself

This is the major key to tricks playstyle as a master tier player (thought he was master, if im wrong correct me)

When everyone on your team is bad, when they are all behind, the last thing you want to do is group for a team fight. The reason for this is because you are behind in gold, and mathematically unless someone on the enemy team makes a major mistake, you should never in any scenario win a five v five team fight if you are down 2000+ gold.

What you want to do instead is afk farm, and stall out the game so your team can catch up in gold. Trick learned that the best way to do this, is heavy minion wave manipulation to force in objective control. Trick is more then likely very good at chess, for he plays league of legends as if it is chess and the minions are his pawns. He thinks on average 5-10 minutes ahead of what will happen and devices a plan in how to properly push waves so he can seize towers, which will expose the enemy team to certain conditions while also giveing his team global gold. Trick must majorly miss the original dragon who gave global gold to the team, for that was a large part of his stratagy for a long time.

Trick does not get his team ahead by flashy ganks, he gets his team ahead by doing things that gives EVERYONE gold.

And honestly this is a playstyle everyone in solo que should learn, but what bad players do not realize is that this is suppose to be a last resort play style, not a primary. Hell whenever trick knows he has good teamates he will be more flashy with his ganks and focus more on invading.

So dear Trick fans

This is suppose to be a back up plan for when all shit hits the fan, not a primary plan.

I found it funny when I used to play with those "udyr mains" back when I was playing in silver who were afk from minute one up to 25 minutes, somewhere in there running around "creating pressure". . Then they have the audacity to call their team bad because they keep losing a 4v5 or he got caught out and nobody helped? K.

Pissed me off the most when they brought up gates like stfu, you ain't trick.

the problem with trick is he does the pewdiepie method in getting viewers by acting like he is your friend.

Dumb kids believe they are friends with trick, subscribe, pay him loads of money and they suddenly think all because they donated money to trick and occasionally talk to him that this makes them good players.

Knowing a good player does not make you a good player. So many people who are in unranked or bronze will just go "I play with plats all the time, so that must mean i'm plat"

I legit have a friend who is grand-master (smite equivalent to challenger) ranking on SMITE and I play with her time to time, won't link her account for the sake of privacy, but she and I are good friends and play together regularly when she is free. I however NEVER assume all because I play with her, that this automatically makes me grand master, I know i'm mediocre at best on smite, other people need to learn that.

TLDR-knowing good players does not make you good

i started pressing tab after seeing the youtubers. Helps with your cs and items cause guides can't cover everything.
