What's your point? A champion relies on a skill to be effective. So do 95% of the champions in the game.

they all have enhanced range for little mana or natural scaling as well as a series of AS steroids. same can be seen with vayne and twitch

Why do you have to compare champions? Kog'maw has the lowest ult cooldown in the game. If Kog'Maw's w is really so important then just build an Essence Reaver and 1 other cdr item for 40% to give it 80% up time.

lowest CD on the game for shitty poke damage and weak execute on top of disgusting mana costs. 50+100+150 = 300 mana simply trying to use it to poke someone down are you kidding me? just because it has a low CD doesn't mean its great.

dude ER doesn't provide the stats kog'maw needs. he doesn't scale with crit, he doesn't scale with ad (besides bonus ad ratio on ult) and doesnt give him any AS. this is the issue with kog'maw and his itemization and if this is how riot is trying to keep him down then there's clearly soemthing wrong with the champion

If he doesn't scale with AD, maybe you should give nashor's tooth a try. It gives attack speed, on hit damage, and cdr to keep your precious W up.

kogmaw wouldn't be viable without his W so idk why you're calling it my precious W when it's necessary towards his kit

Every ability is necessary to everyone's kit. You just seem so upset that his W isn't his passive so I figured I would give you some advice for it to be active more.
