Sett the actual good design?

So I was browsing the forums and see that overall people are kind of happy about Sett and s**ttalk all about Aphelios. I am sure that the uber-super-ultra-complicated looking champion design is the way to go, we definetly want another Akali the community is very happy with those champs. They used to be the foundation of the game back when League was actually the most played game. I hope you noticed the sarcasm.

I played Sett in an ARAM immediately after release and he feels great. He's got his niche he wants to fill, isn't an overloaded pile of crap, and doesn't feel overtuned in anyway. The only thing I could complain about is Facebreaker feels a little awkward to use. He should be the standard for new champs IMO.

Sett is nice. I'll like his kit over anything that has been added/reworked in the last 3 years.

Sett seems cool, as you said, I like his simple kit.

Aphelios is going to be on my perma ban list as a support because there is just to many things to remeber and it just is not worth the effort.

Sett is actually ok, just that shield needs to be nerfed a bit, coz covering half of his hp with a shield is kinda unfair. Aphelios tho, woho, dude, this piece of shit overloaded garbage champion design can't be even called a champion design. If you give all possible mechanics to a single champion it has nothing to do with design anymore. I don't know what Riot was thinking but this champion is more unfair that Zoe ever was. He can do everything while my champion can come close to you and aa and you will probably still kill it because it sucks.

Sett is just a rehash of the same shit we've seen already. I prefer they make more champions like Aphelios with unique mechanics we have never seen before.

sett: feels good to play, isn't absolute aids to play against, doesn't have 50 dashes

yeah I'd say the guy that created his first ever champion did a much better job than any other rioter has for 6 years lmao

No mana bar = shit design just for that, he's a juggernaut too so... Let's not kid around, please.

Eh, he feels weak to me. Weak ult, only strong early laning but falls off by lv10+ with garbage aoe and in teamfights he melts too quick for his grit to be any good.

Almost as immobile as Illaoi too with none of the 1v3 potential Illaoi has.

I've seen Setts beat Garen and Riven 4/0 and come mid-late game they can't even duel Riven or Garen anymore despite the kills advantage.

He's gonna have the Garen syndrome of being too one dimensional, easily kited, with unremarkable utility because of his restricted mobility.
