Matchmaking with more games

So in theory your rank is supposed to determine what players you get matched with. But if you get to a high number of games it seems like you get completely different teams. Streamers have been talking about this how they are stuck one season and in the beginning of the next they magically become better in a week and climb higher. TFBlade talks about it everytime, that he throws away an acc after trollpicking a few games as his elo is messed up. I have this experience from climbing as well as back in season 3 I was stuck in silver then climbed to plat in a week after reset. Then I was stuck in plat 4 a season then climbed to diamond and now I am stuck in diamond winning 90+% of my lanes. Games feel extremely unbalanced 1 player always feel playing better than their elo (with enough games) while there is 1 always who is not even close to the elo (you can tell by general game knowledge in diamond). Honestly matchmaking has been requiring a fix for a very long time.

This is because Riots MMR "System" is an Illusion. It measures you up after it hard locks you to that for the season by forcing a 50% win rate.

It does this not by making even match games but by stacking games for or against you bases on if it thinks you are over the 50% or under.

This i why you get Rubberbanding streaks. It stops any power climbing with Promo Speed bumps.

I was talking with a friend about how we had a pretty big win streak as a duo and how a shitstorm has to approach due to the 50% enforcing.

Guess what? The next game i was playing Pyke as usual, my mate went mid. Our ADC Draven kept bugging me about how i am not putting any pressure on the enemy bot lane, cause im such a bad supoort etc. Now they had zyra and ashe so it was pretty hard to approach them, but hey, the dude was complaining so i went in, hooked ashe, stunned her, damaged her for at least 50% hp and ignited her. Somehow i got the kill. Man he was so pissed cause “i took his kill”. Then I said, didn’t you want pressure ? And the next moment i see zyra out of position, hook her and dash into her, i wanted to let him have the kill but the comeback on the dash killed her. The guy instantly rage quit the game, then he came back after a few minutes and started building rageblade and stinger on Draven lol. If that wasn’t enough, we also had a karma top that went 0/4/1 on lane and then went afk in base in the same game.

Can’t make this shit up dude !
