I thought one of Mages' weaknesses was heavy mana consumption

So why exactly are they allowed to completely negate that weakness with 1300 gold?

item 3802

If Lost Chapter is going to be allowed to remain in the game, mages need to have actual mana costs again.

And not get 20% CDR on their core item alone.

Not to mention their boots, which do not have a Lethality equivalent yet.

This might be the dumbest thing I have ever read lol. You think that the Lost Chapter item benefits mages? Hell to the no. Its quite the opposite. We are forced to go this item because of mana problems that every mage has nowadays. You think going lost chapter first item against lethality champs is what I want to do? We have no build path anymore, its the same item first every single game. I would love to go first item zhonyas against Zed but if I do i can only stay in lane for 1 minute at a time because I HAVE NO FUCKING MANA! If they made mana worse than it already is you might as well take mages out of the game. They should be lowering mana costs not increasing them.

What about the majority of mages having no defensive or mobility skills. relying completely on CC, poke or heavy burst to keep away opponents. the biggest weakness a lot of mages have is that once they're caught out it's hard for them to recover unless they manage to outplay their opponent.
