You know what pisses me off the most about Riot?

SithesisLord··257 votes·10,523 views

The favoritism, the bias they have for certain champions and the blatant lies.

Why? Why lie they´re 'diversifying the meta' when Lee Sin has been god tier pick in the jungle since his release?

Remember the tank meta? When Sejuani and Sion actually existed? Remember when they nerfed both, then nerfed Cinderhulk, then buffed Lee Sin because, according to them, 'He needed some time on the spolight'?

Yeah, so do i.

Sej and Sion weren´t bringing in any money, that´s why, after their nerfs, without any compensation buffs, Lee Sin was back into every single damn match.

Why the hell does Yasuo blocks things that clearly aren´t projectiles but, in a clear and extreme demonstration of bad programming practices and incompetence are coded as such? Orianna's ball, Braum's ult, etc. When, they´re respectively, a unit and a fissure+knockup?

On a friendly reminder that Riot knows Nautilus' ult passes through windwall, and that in a few patches, it will most likely not go through it anymore.

Why the hell that now that Zed has fallen off meta slightly, and i mean slightly as in barely even noticeable, besides buffing him, they´re bringing in Assassin DFG?

Why is it that in every Stealth discussion, such mechanic is only toxic on Evelynn, who's amazingly weaker than Sona when, just a glance at 12/19 PBE update, there are Teemo Stealth buffs?

"But if Lee Sin is all that much, why was Elise picked in Worlds?"

Lemme answer that question with a question: Why do you think they´re changing the AP jungle item AGAIN? All Elise needs to 100-0 an ADC, fed or not, is Runeglaive, Liandry's and Rylai's.

"Meta Diversity?" What bloody meta diversity? 8 in every 10 matches has a Lee Sin. I don´t know about you people, but i don´t see any diversity there.

Also, i´m just going to say it right now. Wanna call me a noob for being Silver(I´m Silver 5 on my main back on the BR server)? Do so. Want to call me a 'No mechanic' player simply because i prefer to play Kayle and Shyvana? Do so. Honestly, i ran out of fucks to give about that. Because as far as i´m concerned, ranking is just that. Ranking. Knowing how a champion works has nothing to do with the fact of me knowing or not how to play it. Being Silver 5? Doesn´t make me someone who knows less about the game.

Don´t throw the winrate speech either. Low winrate and the existence of counterplay does not mean a champion is weak, balanced or even that it doesn´t have an overloaded kit.

Anyways, i´m sick of the lack of diversity. I´m sick of champions that are favored because of the extra money they bring through the famous 'LC$B1GPL4Y$'. I´m sick of champions who get nerfed to oblivion patch after patch simply because you people at Riot don´t like them.

You want to prove you bring Meta diversity?

Gut 40% of Lee Sin's kit. Re-code certain skill shots, targeted abilities, among others to be able to pass through Yasuo's Windwall.

Is there a chance the mains of those to turn into mains-bomb and blow up Riot's HQ? Yes. But at least the existence of diversity would´ve been proven. Riot's already been bought by Tencent and even before was already rich as hell. Stop making money a priority and make it a reward for a job well done, something you haven´t shown since pre-season 5 and even before that.

I´m speaking of mainly Lee Sin and Yasuo because they´re the most severe cases, but there are many more who suffer the same issue.

Evelynn's Perma-stealth and Trundle's winrate should be at the bottom of Riot's priority list. In fact, they shouldn´t even BE a priority.

These talks about 'We don´t favor any champion', 'We bring meta diversity' and 'We don´t hate any champion' are old, overused and blatant lies.

And because of that, Riot, you have failed as a developer. And as long as you continue to follow down that path, as long as you lack meta diversity evidence, as long as you continue to favor part of product simply because it brings more money, you will continue to fail as a developer.

Just my two cents. Upvote/Downvote to your heart's content. But this should´ve been said a long time ago.

look man i'm going to give you the gods honest. a big ol dosage of truth. not trying to be condescending, rude, or make any nasty implications.

you don't know what you're talking about.

this isn't about lack of skill, lack of care, or lack of a real justification for your anger. you just don't know what you're talking about.

yasuo's windwall is a FRUSTRATING ability. sure. you know what else is a frustrating ability? trundle's point and click "lol all ur stats are mine now bro" ult. know what else is frustrating? lux's "lol if i have more than twelve working braincells i can snapcast my e on you for free damage from well outside 95% of the champ rosters range of reprisal." you know what else is frustrating? warwick walking into your lane at level 6 after he hit jungle minions for 7 minutes, pressing r on a champion, and collecting 300g because it's way too early for anyone to even consider adding a qss to their item checklist because they're an adc laning against a goddamn vayne. you know what else is frustrating? getting cockblocked out of a kill by kayle or shen. you know what else is frustrating?

half of the casts lineup of ults and other major impactful abilities. this is normal. you're hyperbolizing the hell out of things.

it reminds me of a post iirc morello made. went something to the effect of "man don't you guys have any idea how incredibly overpowered scissors is? at least rock is okay though. sincerely, paper." you know what pisses me off as a tryndamere main? pretty much 90% of the ap champion roster. orianna, lux, viktor, lulu, other control mages? lol im just gonna sit here and casually snipe off chunks of your health at a time? oh, you want to jump on my face and all in me? that's cute, just gonna cc you for 17 hours, nuke you to death and ignite you as you're walking away like a bitch. thanks for the gold, man. leblanc and ahri will just run circles around you spamming while they cc your ass for about an hour (and just for fun, they nerfed the tenacity on mercs lolololol).

hey, here's an unpopular sentiment on yasuo that's going to earn me more downvotes for arguing against the bizarre public sentiment on yasuo/riven/zed/lee/etc. you know why windwall is so good? because yasuo's ult actually kind of fucking SUCKS. cleansable cc that positions him, as one of the squishiest melee champs in the game (iirc i'm pretty sure miss fortune has better base stats than him as a ranged carry like wtf rofl), right in the middle of a bunch of angry nerds with mediocre ult damage (200-400 base, 150% bonus is pretty nice but in an era where raw damage stats got nerfed yasuo doesn't actually get a substantial amount of bonus ad anymore. for reference for other point-and-click assassin/divey type champs, akali does 100-250 damage castable 3x (so 300-750, .5ap), warwick will do somewhere in the neighborhood of 250-600 damage without calculating on hits other than his passive, leblanc will do something in the neighborhood of 100-450 damage with varying ap ratios [.6 or .9 iirc] depending on which spell she mimics. all of these are point and click and conditionless, just add mana). yeah, ulting off a malphite ult is all fine and dandy, looks sweet, does the deeps and makes you feel like a monster, but just as often you find yourself ulting off a maokai knockup or something, being in the middle of a bunch of angry champions and get instagibbed. bad days.

if YOU, the player, want a reasonable fix for things that bother you, post relevant fixes. screaming about "GUT THIS FKING CHAMPION WOW WTF RIOT??????" doesn't do anyone good. it doesn't make you look like you have any idea of what you're talking about.

TrickMagnet57 votes

in terms of favoritism yeah, it exists. why? because champions that have multiple axis' on which to balance from are GENERALLY healthier. there's a lot more gameplay decisions to make with a champ like orianna, lee sin, zed, yasuo, riven, etc than there are with tryndamere, whose gameplay paradigm exists on "do i crit or do i not crit at level 1? i pass or fail based on circumstances beyond either my or the opponents control." or dr mundo's paradigm of "either i get to walk through the enemy team as a big pile of idiot and sunfire cape an adc to death, or i get to throw two cleavers before an ignite kills me." believe it or not, yasuo is loaded to the brim with counterplay options. sure, it blows to lane against one as a champ he counters. you know what's worse than being lux against yasuo? being a yasuo against an annie. uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh.

like this is one thing i honestly don't understand about lower ranked players (THIS IS NOT AN INDICTMENT, JUST A CASUAL OBSERVATION I'VE MADE OVER THE THOUSANDS UPON THOUSANDS OF GAMES I'VE PLAYED WITH FRIENDS AND RANDOMS OF VARYING ELOS, PLEASE DO NOT GET UPSET). generally speaking i see more vitriol about stuff like lee sin or riven or yasuo or zed or etc than i do about the things that are genuinely difficult to counterplay. annie is a massive example (although i generally begrudgingly still allow her existence personally because something ugly has to exist to counter hypermobile RANGED champs like kalista and leblanc), so is stuff like jax that just statchecks the FUCK out you for the entire game (can i survive x lane before i hit level 6? yes, i win the lane and probably the game. no? i'll just be a massive hinderance to the game until i outscale just about everyone anyway).

TrickMagnet24 votes

also because i somehow glossed over it, evelynn's stealth is by far one of the most toxic and archaic systems that still exists within league. i want to give riot props for finding a (moderately?) healthier way of keeping it from within her old kit but holy god damn has it not worked out as well as they might've hoped. if they could find a way to make her LANE healthily without having her be a jungle only staple she'd honestly work out just great (the concept of a stealth laner is actually really sweet, but as a jungler you just can't keep track of her in any meaningful way, especially in solo queue. it's awful. rengar's kind of bad too but there are sooooooooome ways around him. eve? drop a pink ward, she clears it, waits 20 seconds and then walks at you for free money. cool.)

I think that OP is referring to te situations when Lee sin gets changed and every Lee main cries so Riot reverts the changes. However that's not the case when X (All champions other than Lee, Zed, Riven) Mains cry over their champion, then it's like they do not even listen

Annie is harder to counterplay mechanically than Zed but easier to counterplay strategically. That is to say, if Zed plays better mechanically, he simply has more options and tools than Annie. Annie vs. Lux, for instance, has to burn flash to get a kill at 6 or she will never get a kill 1v1. If Lux takes barrier, heal or exhaust I don't even think it's possible for Annie to kill Lux.

TrickMagnet17 votes

ehhh not necessarily. it's true that zed does have a much bigger option pool than annie does but the thing a lot of lower ranked players (AGAIN, NOT INTENDING TO DIRECTLY CHALLENGE OR CAUSE OFFENSE TO, JUST AN OBSERVATION) don't seem to realize is that the levers allocated to the more "overloaded" champs are levers that need to be pulled in order to be successful. annie has one lever; pull, unload combo on stunned target, pass or fail based on potential for one shot. at equal gold values, zed cannot reliably pull off that same combo by just pulling the same one lever as annie. he'll need to pull 3 or 4 in order to get an equal result in terms of damage values (move in, manuever about the field to either stay within range or at a comfortable distance from the target, etc). that's not to say that annie is a better champ than zed by default (apples n oranges bros), but just having more available tools doesn't necessarily make you stronger when they MUST be used to be successful.

BluePolarizer1 votes

Why do you keep refering to lower ranked players? I'm high plat with 30 wins over losses while you are low diamond 1 loss over win, hardly a big difference.

I also don't know why you keep thinking that Zed can't pull the same thing off with equal reliability when he has 1 skillshot with everything else being self-targetted AOE or point and click, and Annie has essentially 2 skillshots that take flash to use on long ranged champs. The difference is that while Zed is more point and click than Annie is, he also has mobility and sustained damage which Annie doesn't.

TrickMagnet2 votes

? Annie vs zed in terms of sustained damage is actually reasonably close. Similar cds, Annie bases are higher (lower ratios in comparison to zed though iirc) and SIGNIFICANTLY higher up front burst. Again , apples and oranges. Comparing them for any game play reason is silly.

Also, I tried what I could to make note that my descriptions of lower ranked players around the bronze to mid-ish silver range was not a condemnation. If you're going to choose to be upset about it anyway, well, I can't help you there brother

BluePolarizer1 votes

I don't know why you refer to low elos with me then. I'm not bronze or silver.

Also, you neglect autos. The bulk of Zed's damage is from his autos later on, not his spells, and this can be mathematically proven. That's where Zed's sustained damage comes from. You also neglect Zed's long ranged, manaless poke that makes it easy for him to win lane or at least avoid losing lane.

TrickMagnet2 votes

Nowhere did I say that people who disagree with me are low elo. I don't know where you got the idea that I did.

Yes zed gets good sustained damage. Annie gets better and easier damage from range, better utility, and better options for hybridized offensive/defensive items. Apples oranges and fruit loops, dude

I do agree with you, but one major thing I hate is that, since the new season (which is when I started paying attention), I believe I've seen Yasuo in 100% of my games. When there's a champ I see in nearly 100% of games out of 120-odd champs, there is something seriously wrong. The next champs are Lee Sin and Zed, but I don't see them EVERY game.

Maybe Yasuo doesn't need to change, but something does. Other mid laners for example. Even if I loved a champ and he was perfectly balanced, seeing him in every single damn game I play gets frustrating.

TrickMagnet6 votes

this i do understand tho. there's always been a huge gravitation towards particular champs and whenever they're strong->overpowered in terms of balance you just never stop seeing them (yasuo's a great example, so is vayne and zed and lee. but there's also a few other's you might not expect too; ezreal's pickrate goes fucking bonkers whenever he's strong for instance).

the end result typically speaks pretty highly of the champ design; they're just fun to play. but it absolutely does get tiresome seeing them in eeeeeeeveeeeeery gooooooooodaaaaaaamn gaaaaaaaaaaaame. but eh, the meta will always change to something new.

My comment will probably not get seen ever but whatever, might as well cover this:

Yasuo's windwall is functionally broken, not actually broken. While being claimed to be clear, there are a lot of things that raise a "why the fuck what why" when they're blocked - such as Sion's Q. Is that weird to you? No? Oh. Okay, guess I really can't simplify it past that other than saying Yasuo's windwall stops the impact of an axe hitting the ground ('kaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay). I do agree people blow his power way out of proportion, but they do have a small point that he is an oppressive laner and a devastating snowballer that relies on his ult being mis-used to shut down - if all 5 of your teammates are hit by this thing, chances are his team's following up on it and you're not about to blow up that bastard before he ensures a victorious fight. If the only person hit is your tank in the middle of 4 nukers, then no shit he's going to die because basically anyone who throws themselves in the middle of a group only to CC one single person who is meant to be the CC sponge will no doubt die, even mega tanks will drop like dead weight. That's supposed to happen.

Secondly, Yasuo's ult is damage weak, not functionally weak. It offers 50% bonus armor pen, which enables him to be absolutely careless about who he attacks and what he does because he's now busting out incredible damage to any and all especially if he's already bought Last Whisper as an item. Additionally, while the CC is cleansable, he is not locked into the ult if it's cleansed - it does the damage and brings him back down if it's cleansed so long as he is not still CC'ing other enemies. Zed's ult doesn't even do damage if it's cleansed. It is also a 1.5 second long stun basically that is incredibly useful for a team, especially when it's more than half the enemy team locked in there - it's why Orianna/Yasuo or any other such combination was an end-all be-all combo that would end teams because you not only pumped out a ton of damage but have rendered the enemy utterly helpless during the entirety of it save if you're Gangplank or if you've bought an item that doesn't even benefit against him past cleansing his ult. That's the thing about Zed as well as an AD champ - the counterplay is in the item, but if the enemy team is all AD, you just spent 1200 gold on an item that has literally no other use for the next 90 seconds after cleansing a potentially 50 second cooldown ultimate. That kind of argument is downright idiotic.

As a Tryndamere main, though, you have ways around your counters, and you should know this. If you catch them or time them off, you're pretty much golden - but say you're Orianna versus Yasuo. What do you do? Anything? Harass him I guess? Well now your abilities are on cooldown while he hyper-mobiles up to your face, repeatedly autos you, and uses his 1.3 second cooldown steroid auto attack with double crit to cut you limb from limb. Did his dash not reach you? No problem - he can still dash as long as literally any enemy is nearby and can catch you. Still not there yet? His 345 MS combined with Trin-force which synergizes stupidly well with him should see him catching you no problem. Do you see the problem here? There is minimal counterplay save relying solely on your teammates for everything - and it's not even just a lane counter. That is an all-game, on-going issue. Yasuo isn't claimed to be stupidly overpowered usually - it's almost always that he is toxic and with little to no counterplay that leads to people feeling like they can't fight him. And they're right - against an actually good Yasuo, little to no champs actually stand a decent shot without outside help. His only weakness is how aggressive he wants to be and how much the enemy can trap him early - if he feeds early, he's useless. If he's fed early, he's a monstrosity. That's not healthy. That's not healthy at all. It's the same problem they capped Quinn for, and yeah, she deserved the capping - just that they fucked up and overtuned the damage afterward. Whooooooops.

So that's the Yasuo rant.

On the side notes, Akali isn't even something you should compare 50%+ champs to in terms of balance - her ult takes her a full two seconds to travel from its max range to the target, and she can't do anything on the way there other than I think still E mid-flight (but E has been accepted as a borderline energy dump unless you're going BC/tank Akali). Warwick's hardly comparable either as his ult is only strong in lane and basically becomes a handicap later. Not to mention assassins have already been mentioned as being up after mages on the change list due to them being incredibly toxic in general - so I'd hardly ever try to compare other champions to assassins in terms of toxicity because it's like trying to make somebody look better by saying, "At least they're not Stalin".

TrickMagnet3 votes

maybe i should've clarified a little further on why i was choosing those specific champs in regards to yasuo's ult; i was strictly going for damage values on champs whose design paradigm is "ult to jump to your face then clobber you." obviously the champs themselves function much differently and i wasn't trying to imply that they are. generally champ by champ comparisons don't end up working very well unless they function nearly identically (lulu and janna for instance are almost mirrors of eachother, just with stats and functions twisted around)

choosing orianna to compare to yasuo in terms of a 1v1 is actually sort of an odd choice though. http://www.elophant.com/league-of-legends/champion/orianna/matchups she actually tends to win slightly more often than not vs yasuo in mid. i dunno how familiar you are with the matchup on either side of the ball but it's not nearly as easy as you think it is for yasuo. ex:

level 1 yasuo will almost always go e vs a ranged opponent. it's the smartest choice since it actually allows him to get within range of a target to try to secure an early advantage. generally, knowing this, most orianna's will take their shield first. the first combat sequence between the two, assuming both are playing intelligently, will look like this if they take their e's respectively: yasuo's shield is popped by an ori auto as he's dashing up to her, she shields herself, yasuo gets a few auto's and a stacked e on her, then returns to his minion line. orianna in this basic sequence will actually outdamage yasuo by a not insubtantial amount, especially when adding in the minion damage that he'll take for openly engaging her. if for some reason he take's q it goes much worse; orianna's early auto harass is honestly vicious for a ranged opponent, and it'll add up pretty quickly. level 2 orianna can choose between q or w depending on how aggressive yasuo chooses to be; the more aggressive, she'll likely be more willing to take w, shield herself and pop the w when he jumps in on her again. unless yasuo is tricky enough to bait it when he moves in, he'll still likely lose the trade. once level 3 rolls around it turns into an honestly great chess game; yasuo has to bait and barrier the ball to have success, orianna has to bait the windwall and she wins. ori can use her q to position nearby to minions yasuo wants to last hit or if it looks like he'll want to move through a specific section of the minion line (generally, yasuo will wait until his shield is up or about to be up, then open up his combo by e'ing through a dying minion and engaging. this can be exploited).

yeah, losing to a yasuo and getting snowballed on is pretty ugly. you know what else is ugly though? the reverse. ori just straight up places her q in the creep wave, waits until you get thirsty for a last hit, presses r and facerolls and you just DIE. ori also has a significantly easier time playing catchup than yasuo does; if he gets behind by a certain degree, he can't even farm anymore since everything about his kit puts him in harms way to function. orianna doesn't.

your description of "feast or farmine" gameplay being toxic is false as well. there are some champs that should be able to function when behind or contribute (ashe is a classic example; even if she's 0/6 with little farm, she's still a utility powerhouse that can make big plays. when people were saying "lol ashe isn't an LC$ big play button like VAYNE is" i honestly threw up in my mouth. enchanted crystal arrow is the ULTIMATE and ORIGINAL lc$ big play button dawg. on the flipside tho some champs should be garbage when they're behind. i don't want tryndamere to be able to make big teamfight contributions if he's 0/4

Not saying Yasuo is OP (I don't like him, but there's worse champs), but this is flat out the DUMBEST argument in defense of windwall I have ever heard. I'm a Tristana main, yeah I hate the damn thing for blocking pretty much everything in my arsenal. But telling me "its ok, because his ult sucks" is moronic. How about I ask Riot to "nerf" Tristana's ult (take off the knockback, a great peel that non-Tristana players (friend & foe) hate), but instead gimme a shield on rapid fire. That'd be ok, because now my ult is a PoS, right? Nevermind that the cooldown is MUCH lower (thus popping up practically all the time), nevermind that the COST is non-existent. What's important is that my ult is weaker, so its totally cool that I have a base ability that's overpowered. Now instead of annoying people every 70 secs (at max rank with no CD) I can do it every 16. But hey, it's cool because your ult is so much better than mine.

TrickMagnet3 votes

riot buzzword incoming but are you familiar with the concept of a power budget?

think about it like this, every champion has an abitrary power budget value of 20 if we're assuming we lived in a hypothetical fantasy world where all champs are created equal and are equally balanced. this world will never EVER exist but for sake of argument lets assume we've somehow entered this wonderful equilibrium.

YASUOS POWER BUDGET:

p: 4 q: 2 w: 7 e: 3 r: 4

this would be something like what his power budget looked like. tristana, as another champion you brought up would look something like this:

TRISTANAS POWER BUDGET:

p: 4 q: 4 w: 5 e: 3 r: 4

she doesn't have anything in her toolkit that's as strong as windwall pound for pound, but in the end, it all equals out to the same relative value based on what her character is intended to do, how it functions on a point by point basis in the game, and how it relates to champion interactions. now like i said, obviously the game isn't balanced and never will be (which is fine), so whether or not yasuo is actually a 20, a 22, or an 18, is anyones guess (i'm on the side of he's probably a 20 that's just horribly overplayed right now)

Pretty sure that SithesisLord is talking about favoritism, not necessarily balance. Yes, providing fixes to champions considered broken is better than saying "OMFG BROKEN OP NERF", but thats not the point of this post, its to call out riot for making continuous bullshit decisions in the name of LC$BIGPLAY$. And YES, a company has to make money, but when its been 3+ years that Lee has been in the meta and he gets fixed repeatedly to stay in the meta when many other champs don't get that kind of special treatment, its going to piss you off.

Riot has been very kind to certain champs, even lately. Did anyone really think Lee needed that buff to his ult? He was finally starting to fall out of the spotlight just in time for Wolrds, so along came buffs to try to push him back into it. The timing and the reasoning are both suspicious. The ult buff was allegedly because they wanted players at low elo to get some forgiveness if they used it on a tank. Like having your damage sponge being flung back out of the fight isn't forgiving enough.

And then one of the Rioters was talking about Sej and explicitly told us that the reason she wasn't getting buffed back up after cinderhulk was nerfed was because they wanted her to "spend some time out of the spotlight". That means some balance decisions are made specifically to get champions to be less popular. If so, why hasn't some of the long time popular champions gotten nerfed so that lesser played champs could spend their time in the spotlight?

Because Riot plays favorites.

You should put this on Reddit also tbh

They've been very clear that they don't balance champions or change the meta in a way that brings in more profit. The E-commerce team is completely separate from the Gameplay team, and it always has been.

I mean I obviously can't prove that they're not lying. I just think it's a wrong accusation considering how they're expected to uphold an image of honesty and clarity to the players. Riot really wants its playerbase to think it's a good company.

So does EA and Ubisoft.

Look how most are seeing them now.

EA comes out with the new Battlefront and it barely justifies its 20 GB worth of size.

Ubisoft claims to be doing good stuff for the Rainbow Six franchise with Siege, while Siege is easily the worst we´ve ever gotten since Lockdown. Dare i say it´s worse than the Vegas duology.

Continuing this quick change of subject from Riot to EA and Ubi, i really want to continue being hyped for The Division, but they´re dropping the ball real hard, not with the delays, but the lack of honesty. You can´t say a game is on proper working order when after release it turns out worse than when it was in beta.

Back on track.....

I think Meddler said that they´re aren´t allowed to nerf Lee Sin.

I just want to know why aren´t they allowed to nerf Lee Sin. A truthful, believable reason why. It´s not asking for a mountain of gold, is it?

Please don't just "think" that someone, who obviously wouldn't, would say that they can't nerf Lee Sin because... reasons? Without proof I will not accept that Meddler has ever said anything like that.

They have said that, they've even admitted Lee Sin is over loaded multiple times, and they understand he's so popular because "he shits on everyone". Riot did in fact attempt to change Lee Sin ages ago but there was "community back lash" (reddit spam) and everything was scrapped.

Where have they said that? I'm not looking for claims. I'm looking for proof.

Your ignorance has taken up more time than it would have taken to google any of this, Morello's Tweets appear at the top of the results for instance. https://twitter.com/RiotMorello/status/484042166948212736

"Actually, when we nerf Lee, it causes a HUGE uproar. If I wasn't worried about what people thought we'd nerf him months ago"

Who gives 2F's about Reddit Spam???

If Riot would use their own website to communicate things they wouldn't have to worry about reddit.

Keevalroy6 votes

Riot does since they want to appeal to non-player spectators instead of actual players. Gotta push that sport legitimacy right?

Keevalroy4 votes

Just look at Battlefront whatever you want to call EA's latest disaster. I don't agree with the direction League is going in the slightest, I hate how much Riot lies to us, I don't understand how the balance team can get away with so much bullshit for so long among many other contributing factors from certain departments, but Riot is not, and I repeat NOT EA. They're closer to Blizzard - a company that got too big too fast and lost touch with the community that built them up and eventually refused to take any kind of feedback from them anymore because hey, "we're big and important now, your opinions don't matter lol."

Want to see their favoritism? Brand, Anivia, Swain + DFT get nerfed immediately after being too strong, but with Yasuo and Tryndamere + Warlord's Bloodlust, neither Yasuo nor Tryndamere were touched while Warlord's was nerfed (as it should've been).

(Also, I love how people bring up rank, as if most Rioter's aren't people Gold and below)

AATTRROOXX3 votes

How am I supposed to take arguments from a player who hasn't even played ranked for a whole 6 MONTHS?
