Remember when we asked for Graves E to be toned down a little?

Well apparently Rito doesn't

Graves (E) added to tool tip: "The next attack against an enemy champion grants Graves True Grit for 4 seconds. If an enemy champion is hit by all bullets, Graves gains 2 stacks of True Grit instead."

They actually halved it on the PBE but realized they could just buff him instead and make more money

As I said in another thread, I highly doubt those are the final changes (or the only ones)

only 40 armor and MR instead of 120 if im reading right

what's the issue here

Jungle Lux God1 votes

It still stacks up to 4 times, and I believe it scales with the ability rank of his E.

Big Lincoln1 votes

it's 10 a stack, so 4 stacks is 40 of each

that's a pretty heavy-handed nerf

Jungle Lux God1 votes

No, I mean that the stacks scale from 10 to some other value based on his E rank.

On live he gets 10/15/20/25/30 resists per stack, and I don't think that was changed.

That's his rank 1 E, it's going to scale up to 120 as it does on live.

im dumb

If I'm reading the tooltip right Graves no longer gets stacks upon casting it and no longer can stack it on neutral monsters or minions. In exchange he occasionally gets extra stacks if he hits an enemy champion with every bullet.

I'm no Graves player but that sounds like a nerf to me.

Yeah they made his jungling significantly harder and less safe but in return upped his teamfight capabilities. So is Graves the new Lee Sin now?

Jungle Lux God1 votes

I would think it's easier to burst him now since he doesn't get the armor/mr on casting it and it doesn't stack it as quickly if he doesn't attack a target with every bullet on his first auto attack.

I would argue that it would be easier to play around Graves getting tank stats in the middle of teamfights while rewarding Graves players that can force situations where he's guaranteed to get the double stack without getting immediately blown up.

I guess it does reward players for playing around Graves. Its quite common for Graves to just rush in and hit all 4 of his bullets in your face, especially if you're a melee. Overall id say you can outplay him easier if you are ranged, but if youre a melee he just got a lot more harder to deal with.

Actually his team fighting was nerfed too. He can't enter into a fight with it already prepped. He has to go in naked, with no stacks. That makes him much squishier.

until he gets a single auto attack off. sorry, but no. this is clearly a buff.

at the very least its a conditional buff, that makes him still stronger than now under specific circumstances.

this is ridiculous. hes already strong and he has a high playrate. he doesnt deserve another buff, even if its just conditional. we expected riot to make him less tanky, not give him the ability to build up his stacks even faster.
