@Rioters can we please start finishing projects before moving on to the next ones?

So I understand you guys are mad at work makign the game we all love better to play and pumping out lots of content and I really dig that honestly!.

but what about updates that have missed marks?

I think its fair to say that most of the community is still not okay with the state of Fiora . Shes and "assassin/duelist" who gets away building like a bruiser and basically becomes a super melee carry on the terms of a Yasuo and mows down everyone.Shes been nerfed here and there but never the main problem.

And what about Mordekaiser probably the most infamous example of a unfinished project being left to rot. Mordekaiser was in a awful state for a couple months and I think to this day its fair to say that he has yet to recover. He can solo lane but hes still a one trick pony whos entire reason for being picked is defined by the Dragonforce.

The marksman update really improved itemization for alot of ADC's but some ADCS got left in the dust mostly those who rely on mid ranged auto attacks as opposed to casting lots of abilities.Basically anyone who cant make use of item 3508 is probably not very viable right now they seem "fair" to play against but not strong which basically means theres no real incentive to pick them outside of simply liking said champ.

Can these problems please be addressed ASAP?

EDIT: I understand KogMaw is okay but thats only due to rageblade.

Im talking aboutDraven Ashe Jinx Varus Sivir whom all feel like are lacking in power compared to Ezreal Lucian MissFortune

EDIT: forgot Skarner

If history is any indicator, rather than admitting they screwed up, Rito would rather just nerf the problem(doesn't matter if it's strong or already too weak) and then hope it fades out of the players' minds over time. I'd go so far as to believe they do it intentionally in many cases, purposefully creating something they know is a massive gutting and huge mistake solely because they have a clear bigotry against a specific champ.

I wouldnt go as far as to say that. I think its just sometimes they can be very adamant about a change even when the community decides against it as a whole. and then nobody ever seems to find the time to go back and fix it because theyre always "working on stuff in internal playtesting"

When does the whole community agree on anything? There were even people who disliked the Poppy rework.

I think there are a lot of players who think they represent the whole community when they are actually only a part, and Riot knows that even if they don't.

Anyway, Riot hardly ever 100% revert a big change because they usually don't make a big change unless the champion is broken (see: old Sion, old Poppy, old Morde). Even if the new version isn't much of an improvement... then they still want to look for something else that will be better than both failed versions. Going back from one failed version to another failed version wouldn't solve anything.

Things like numbers tweaks get partial reverted all the time, and occasionally even full reverted. People who say Riot never undoes balance changes just aren't paying attention.

Fiora is actually a fighter. Hence why her bruiser build is useful to her.

Waaaaay too usefull imo.

Agreed.

You actually think Tank Fiora does as much damage as Yasuo? That's fucking hilarious.

It does not do as much damage as Yasuo, but it has far more survivability.

WadeWilson13376 votes

The difference is Fiora can 1v1 the vast majority of champions in the game, provides her W which makes her invulnerable and a potential cc, not to mention potentially wasting enemy cc, a gap closing/semi escape, true damage, and then her ult which heals her entire team. Lets not forget to mention she has a what, 93% winrate in LCS? The highest level of play? And is also pick/ban in challenger games? Shes fucking overpowered and has WAY too much damage considering how tanky she is. oh, and she has sustain too.

Retillin9 votes

Tank Fiora does do as much damage as Yasuo. Not as much DPS (damage per second) but she lasts a LOT longer in fights. Meaning she ends up putting out more damage in a fight.

Spoofghoul1 votes

but she has alot of low cd aa resets so she can actually almost equal yasuo's dps

especially witht he vitals

yesterday playing sion she hit the thing and did 1500 true damage how is yasuo ever gonna do that

I disagree with you about Essence Reaver. Just looking at win rate, 5 of the top 10 ADCs don't use it (taking highest win% build on champion.gg as the "core build"). It doesn't look stupidly strong anymore - or perhaps it is but champions have been balanced around it.

I also disagree with you on Morde - Riot have continued to make changes to him (first nerfs, then buffs) even now, months after the initial rework. He is definitely still on their radar.

WadeWilson13372 votes

I promise you Lucian would be the highest winrate adc, if it wasnt for the fact his winrate is 43.1% the closest in the ENTIRE game being Ezreal at 34%, and hes only relevant because of blue build. Essence Reaver is strong solely for how overpowered Lucian is right now, if it wasnt for Ezreal youd likely see him or the item being nerfed.

EchoezOfRain3 votes

Let's also not forget Skarner , who has been reworked TWICE, the newest one leaving him with an un-fun "Mini-game". Not only that, but the reason he was reworked in the first place was because of his Perma-slow, but apparently champs like Nasus and Nunu are allowed to have Perma-Slows. They took away his top lane potential and forced him into jungle

Karma Another project of Riot's that they fail to fix.

Riot is not doing anything but spending six months on Soraka and buffing already fine champions like Xin. Useless red named scrubs.

Karma's fine, a bit different thematic than old one but still not bad.

What needs fixing about Karma? She doesn't see LCS play now that Lemon is retired?

Her CC is high risk, but she also has decent poke and a useful buff (which she can AOE) and can harass pretty well if you flex her into support.

As for Soraka, as nervous as I am about Alignment, I still think she's better now than when she had the old zero range Q. Although I liked the armor buff as a way to make healing during a fight more rewarding than healing after, you get some of that with Windseeker's but not nearly as much.

Im talking aboutDraven Ashe Jinx Varus Sivir whom all feel like complete shit compared to these broken as fuck ADC:Ezreal Lucian MissFortune Corki Graves Quinn

Fixed that for you

Fixed that for you

Jinx's AS got hit to hard IMO also the item 3035 change made it so she needs 5 attacks to kill squishy targets as opposed to her usual 3.Shes a bit better at being a demolition derby but can no longer build up her momentum solo. Hilariously enough Jinx wasnt op she was just very RELIABLE . Jinx wasnt OP all the other carry options were risky or bad. Now that alot of the other ADC's are strong AND Jinx got nerfed theres no reason to pick Jinx. Riot should have siezed the chance to enhance her kit and make her better at AOE damage and bringing down towers.

Varus was supposed to be good with the new item 3508 but you cant really make use ofthe passive to replenish mana as Varus sits very far in the back and has low attack speed. Its still better to get item 3042 and as much armor pen as possible. IDK why riot keeps trying to force auto attack oriented Varus when sitting in the back throwing out 700 damage nukes every 2 seconds is alot safer prefered style of play.

Sivir Is still only picked for her ult. thats really about it. her waveclearing isnt as needed because everyone e lse can just spam abilities to push back also

Ashe had her slows changed around and moved to be reliant on her critting. also she suffers from item 3035 changes. Her core Itemitem 3046 for the longest time was too expensive to build and simply didnt offer enough AS

Draven is very snowball dependant and one of the best early game carries. He was the one character in LoL who actually got away with rushing a Sword of the Occult as a first Item. Occult is gone now and IE has been nerfed a bit item 3035 is also pretty bad. Draven isnt that bad but im suprised Riot didnt sieze the chance to once again take another shot at his passive(It literally does nothing once your 6 Items).

Unfortunately it seems they keep a pretty rigid schedule, so if they release something and it's not up to par... too bad, the next class of reworks is up soon and we need to move onto that.

I would trade dragon ghost for decent base stats on mordekaiser in a heartbeat.
