How do you actually catch a corki?

Instant death seems to be the only answer ADCs respond to nowadays

Why chase the kiting monkey masters when death is the greatest CC of them all

You get him to over extend, then start walking past him and force him to valk. Then you CC him at the point he goes to because you're already partly there.

(That works for bot lane, if he's midlane, without point and click hard CC, or being something like Zed, you don't.)

Whatever the hell you do, stay out of the fire. Every player I faced as makes the mistake of pursuing me through the fire even though there's a lot of space, even though I'm outside of the fire. For some reason, they like to walk back inside. Keep separate from your teammates so that it's hard for Corki to land the package on multiple targets.

Valk has a super long cooldown, when ganking him wait for him to use it offensively or defensively, after that, hes your plaything. outside of lanephase, either hard cc him or just insta burst him. hes a pretty safe champion to play, thus why he is so popular.
