@Riot Meddler Why is Karma being ignored and Reksai Getting Mini-Rework Over Her?

Her kit, gameplay and thematic have been suffering for four years . . . . far longer than how long Reksai has been in this game. Why is it that Reksai is being worked on over someone like Karma who used to be a battlemage and has everything stripped of her and lost her gameplay as a battlemage, over Reksai? Like does any Department even care at this point? Karma mains are not expecting a VGU anytime soon. Unfortunately, it is becoming VERY clear that you actually like the ridiculous changes to her E+R and new gameplay, because for four years the Live Game Update team has been ruining her.

What is so enjoyable about a champion that used to be played as a battlemage and is labeled as a mage, to be turned into nothing more than a shield bot that builds items to increase the effectiveness of that one ability she presses the entire game? You tell us why the Live Game Update Team, Riot, and the Champ Up team is so adamant about an ability that is so heavily disliked and was replaced with something over her shield bomb. Why was it put on Ivern and removed from Karma? Please stop prioritizing champions that are, in a sense, better off than Karma who has been suffering for more than four years . . . and being ignored by every Department.

It seems like everything is more important than her. I mean, are the butterflies roaming around Summoners Rift more important than a champion you have stripped everything from and continue to ignore? I mean the work you have done on her isn't addressing what needs to be done or could be a temp fix. For the love of God, please stop being ignorant to her fans and prioritizing work on other things that are not that far off from her. Seriously. Your idea that a champion with a terrible kit, improper gameplay, and horrible thematic means a champion is fantastic right now, is very delusional. No she is not. From what she used to be and could do before, you have ignored EVERYTHING and completely ruined her. No one is communicating in-house or with fans about her. We have been asking for years for you to do ANYTHING productive on her and actually listen to the community, and you cannot be bothered when the butterfly on Summoners Rift is more important.

Because Rek'Sai has had nothing short of a death grip on the competitive jungle pool SINCE HER RELEASE. Karma is doing just fine AND is seeing professional play. Kids that play this champ are just never going to stop talking about her. Idk why

The reason is because they messed up her kit rework (as she was the 1st "official" one under the rework team) due to giving her to an inexperienced designer and rushing it out before it was fully ready.

She may be "fine" and seeing "professional play", but it doesn't mean that her kit is actually good or interesting or even healthy.

For example, let's rework Rengar under Riot's design from way back. -Remove his weapons completely -Change his outfit to only a loincloth -Keep his Q and change both his W and E to something totally different -Change his Empowered Q, W, and E to something very weak -Remove his passive and give him +1 AD for every time he hits a champion (stacks: 10 max) and it expires after 10s of non-combat -Add a delay to stealth in R and don't allow him to have that jump anymore.

Please let me know how that goes with Rengar players.

Why are you so convinced that she's weak? She sports a 50.44% in plat+ and she's constantly picked in pro play. On top of that, she has a clear identity which evolves from the early game to the late game. Sounds like a balanced champ

Who said she was weak? Any champion can be "balanced" to a 50% winrate. Doesn't mean they are healthy for the game (see: Lee Sin).

I simply stated her kit stemmed from a trash kit rework that systematically removed her identity throughout the 4 years. Regardless of whether or not she is constantly picked in pro pick or not, it doesn't make her kit any less dumb.

And let's be real. Her identity is a shieldbot and that's pretty much it. If you can't or won't understand it, simply click on the OP's links to get educated and up to speed on the 411 of Karma's kit.

Because Karma has been a mediocre problem for the meta since them finally overbuffing her not even a year ago While Rek'sai has been problematic for the meta ever since her release about 2 years ago.

It may be true that Karma is a bundle of failed improvement attempts, half a dozen missjuged changes, an endless stream of missed opportunities and lacking thematics, but this is only affecting one champion. Rek'sai affected the whole game.

Not saying I agree with this, but this is probably the unsatisfying reason you are looking for.
