Which support would the new disarmed mechanic work best on?

On interesting thing about Irelia's new rework is her ult applies a new debuff: disarmed. It prevents people from attacking while they have it.

This sort of thing seems like a prime skill for a support to have. I mean I'd love to have something like this as a support and an ADC would love being able to trade with a disarmed foe.

- this could work on her Q or W - I could see this going on his primal scream. - add to her E for more aggressive use of it. If you mark a foe with it, they are disarmed for a second. - if riot wants to overload her E or remove the root from it, I could see this on soraka. - I'd add this to her W as it wouldn't really buff lane Lux that much, but would give support and teamfight lux more options.

Bonus suggestion - halve the damage of stand aside and have it disarm any champ it hits for .75 seconds. Why? BECAUSE DRAVEN!!!

Disarm actually has existed before, but not on it's own; previously, it's been in Lulu's polymorph (which is disarm + silence), and Amumu's ult (which is disarm + root). Quinn also has it, because her Q disarms minions/monsters instead of applying a nearsight like with champions.

This is the first time it's existed in its own right separate from another, more notable CC on a champion, though. And now that it's happened, I think out of all of your examples, Draven's Stand Aside and Janna's Zephyr seem like the best places to put it, since they're throwing something at someone that is likely to make them drop their weapons. I like that.

I know she isn't. I just think that, theme wise, it makes sense (There's a lot more abilities that I think a disarm would fit in too, but that'd probably take too long to list tbh)

DrMundo Not a support, but I could see this working really, really well on his Cleavers.

Gives him a much stronger presence in teamfights, and the cc he needs to be competitive without being 'generic'.

Talking about disarm is something that sword/melee weapon should get XinZhao Fiora Jax could be the best with that but Garen Akali Caitlyn Darius Diana Pantheon MasterYi Tryndamere Yasuo Jax Shen are good too (i included cait because most adc like sniper then to disarm enemy before start a fight but it can work for all gun/bow champ which mean ezreal/draven shouldn't prolly because magic shot tend spiritual power while if u throw a axe to disarm someone you should be disarmed too because you lost your weapon). Actually disarmed seem to be really good on fiora kit. I can't imagine a disarm mechanix on support but maybe Leona could. If i really would this on a support i would imagine disarm like a subliminal Pacifist way to don't fight (like E ahri charm) so i would like on Sona, Janna and soraka for sure and nami maybe too (i wouldn't like on lulu because she's a fairy and most fairy like her are mostly bullying/joking guys so a disarm on her like polimorf sound like cruel way to bully a enemy).
