She did get compensation buffs - her damage early game is much higher in lane and allows you to take a much more active role in lane control than before. She can max W now and be a very effective lane bully against the tank support meta, and AP makes her entire kit scale very well into late game. You can also mix item actives into her build and do a lot of things with her that you couldn't before.

I've played Janna since beta and she is in one of the best spots she's ever been in - the majority of players haven't caught up yet and are still playing her as before, maxing E and being passive.

Janna is better than Lulu late game, unless there is a fed Wuk on the enemy team. Lulu's not even that bad to go against against in lane vs a Blitzcrank Bard Karma Zyra .

Implying anyone actually reaches late game now.

Lulu is the best support for early/mid game and if you're really aggressive with her then you shouldn't be losing lane unless you got careless and die to ganks.

Only champs that annoy me when i play lulu is aftershock supports since it's harder to kill them than non aftershock users but it's whatever i can just carry through mid game.
