Why are smurfs allowed?
Honestly this should be considered cheating, you are playing well below your skill level and can carry a garbage team to victory. It gets worse and worse the closer to the end of the season. Why is this allowed?

Because Riot doesn't have an alternative for those that smurf for legitimate non-harmful reasons, and has no way to stop the rest.
I think you should be allowed to play regardless of ethnicity! Even if you are blue you should still be allowed to play! Stop being racist. lol
and how would riot tell someone is a smurf? besides they don't care, smurfs get them money too
You don't get better in the game by playing with bad players, rather leveling up you need to take advantage and learn from the smurfs :P
I've been smurfing on a new Yasuo only account for 2 days, and I'm not sure anyone could tell I'm smurfing tbh. I have 12 wins, 11 losses. Pretty standard.
For me, it is either have my friend who is new play against high silver/ low gold, or have me make a new account and play with him against other low levels/occasional smurf.
Which sounds funner for him
