may i ask how it's possible, AS YI , to have 430 speed and not be able to catch a riven only going 380.
how has this not been fixed? is speed just a number? is there a certain thresh hold?

ValyrianBlade1 votesRiven has 3 small dashes on her q and another movement move as well. Depending on her cdr and how long the chase was, and if she was able to use any of them to jump over small walls or even creeps, she could very reasonably get away from someone with only 50 more ms...
reaperslayer241 votesno walls, at first her q and e were both on cd from being under tower, half of the time was just straight up running, and there was no new minion wave, literal clear path.
reaperslayer241 votesand this was at the inner turret, when minions did evenutally meet up i just went around them, by the time she got around river distance lane wise i just ended up backing off cause i knew it was a lost cause, she was about 5-600 units ahead at this point (don't truly understand units so an example would be j4 e range +7%)
DuskTheViking1 votesi just had a game where the enemy shen was moving at what looked like about 450 move speed while only having boots 1. his stats listed his move speed at around 470 while i was running at 490. despite me hitting him with 2 slows back to back i couldn't gain any ground and he quickly out paced me. I started watching him out run everyone very easily and pointed it out to my team mates. no one knew what was going on, and no one could figure it out.
