Ranked is just luck
Yup it all depends if you get matched with retarded teammates who can't hold their lane. Yes you can get fed and carry but if you don't gl with winning.

The idea is if you're an average player in your elo then your winrate should be around 50%. By individually playing better you increase your odds, but not astronomically. Like Someone with a Plat 1 skill level who is currently in high-gold will probably have a 55-60% winrate until their elo matches their skill at which point it will be approximately 50%. If you're substantially better than your rank (like a Master player in Gold or something) then you could have upwards of a 90% winrate. So if you truly feel ranked for you is a total coin toss, you are probably just where you deserve to be.
Obviously ranked isn't pure chance otherwise certain people wouldn't be able to consistently climb to diamond+ with way better than a 50% winrate.
I feel bad for people who think like this.
I love how people are so quick to blame eachother when in reality we're all equally to blame for our sins ( In this cause "SINS" = Failures and misplays ) you can blame others all you wish but that won't change the reality of the situation.. If you're struggling in ranked that's not on anyone except yourself..

Also I don't think I'm above this either I'm silver 5 because I make stupid plays and have a hard time positioning myself in teamfights however I can easily get myself fed when its solo lane and ganking allied lanes
Just because I can get fed via roaming or through my laner doesn't mean I'm any better at the game
and the person who posted this thread is probably the same as I he can easily get fed and dominate his lane but likely fails when it comes to teamfights Perhaps he is like I whom struggles with positioning or fails to group when required

Its a coin flip. Its pretty hard to solo carry games in season 6. There are a couple champs that can still do it like 
.
If you consistently outplay your direct position opponent you will climb. If you are going even in lane and expecting your team to carry you that is the definition of a coinflip.
Braum is pretty unplayable in solo queue after the nerfs. He works best in a communication rich environment: ie dynamic queue. Play the meta for more success. As a fellow Plat support main and aficionado of Braum, i feel for you dude.
