Can someone at Riot at least LOOK at the Thresh hook hitbox?

I understand that it gets wider towards the end of the skillshot (which is also a pretty dumb idea), but this is just stupid.

It's also literally magnetic to minions, whereas a hook may graze a champion at the same distance (a champion who, I would like to note, has a BIGGER hitbox than a minion) and it whiffs. The skillshot is messed up. Just fix it.

EDIT: I love Thresh. This is not an "omfg op hook nerf thresh qq" thread. He is my favorite champion. I even cosplayed Thresh. But I'm capable of recognizing an unfair advantage, and the widening, magnetic hook is exactly that.

But they gotta keep it as is to make the #LCSBigPlays!!!!!

Does anyone remember why is this even a thing? Why is Thresh a special snowflake in regards to skillshots, getting this double width? I mean, why not do the same for champions like Anivia, Galio, Nocturne? There are many champions with relatively slow and hard to hit skillshots.

Thresh is a a fucking worthless braindead scumfuck bastard pile of trash mental dickface that should be gunned down in the street like the degenerate he is

Working as intended.

Thresh is Riot's perfect Support who brings income with his LC$ BIG PLAYZ. They are more likely to buff him rather than fix the hitbox.

I heard that in this picture, Thresh hooked Pix, and therefore, it "successfuly landed" on Lulu.

I can not to this day work out the hitbox on Fizz's ult. It sticks to me every time I think I juked it.

I think riot should do a complete cleanup of hitboxes so they match their visuals

This isn't specific to Thresh's hook and it's due to perspective bias. Depending on the angle you're looking at your champion (where your screen is relative to your champion) it may or may not look like your champion is being hit by a certain ability.

I think they need to normalize the in-game perspective so that there isn't a huge different between what you're seeing and what's happening in the code. Right now situations like this can happen for many different abilities.

TL;DR Not just Thresh. It's because of perspective bias.

That reminds me to Leblanc

I'm pretty sure this is happening because Lulu sped up suddenly, and the thresh hit box still managed to hit the edge of Lulu's hit box, so it counts it as a land. Same happens to minions, when you try to get your hook past a minion, it'll decide it actually hit the minion and didn't just fly past it.

They just have to fix hit boxes in general.

You guys want thresh nerfed until he does no damage and he's completely unviable. Sad.
