Syndra Can Cancel Teleporting to a Minion...?

In one of my earlier games, I found that I could force my opponent to walk back to lane after picking up and smacking down a minion that would OTHERWISE be immune to damage to not only kill it but also waste their Teleport cooldown.

I don't know if this is a known bug, a "special quirk" to having a Syndra on your team, or what, but I really don't feel that should even be a possibility. I mean, yeah, I did it every time someone would be silly enough to teleport to an applicable target instead of a ward or turret but by god, if this does happen to be known, why isn't she disabled? I'm a terrible Syndra player (only bought her recently with self-gifting mystery champions) but imagine this in any higher level of play, especially professional circuit.

Absurd!

Syndra using W to grab a teleported minion would cancel the animation, not the actual teleport. Enemies will still land at the end of channel where the pulled minion was originally.

Repeated tests have confirmed this in game as well. I suspect your enemies were cancelling their TPs out of fear of it being moved.

Picking up the minion is what causes it to do it. Basically its like trying to teleport to a turret and it goes boom before you finish channeling. Since it was 'removed' it is a nontarget object which cancels the channel. Fun Fact.[slayer-jinx-wink]

but when you try to kill a minion it says that it can't ne killed. so it shouldn't allow her to pick it up

Immune to damage doesn't mean immune to CC. Perhaps we should experiment with other displacement spells. (like say, Tahm devour.)

But then, shouldn't the protection the minion gets that prevents you from removing it by killing it also prevent you from removing it by picking it up?

Maybe they should even go one step further and completely put the minion into stasis (zhonyas/bard ult) until the teleport completes. Because if you could, say, Poppy ult the minion so that they still teleport but not where they actually wanted to go, that would be funny, but probably not good for balance.
