Riot was Movement speed ever considered for Sheen instead of CDR?

Trinity and Lich Bane already have movemetn speed so a change to build paths would be fine for both of them

IBG is basically the Nasus dream item to a greater extent then frozen heart ever was and CDR would not be an issue for IBG buyers to get over a game if IBG got 5 or 6% movement speed and lost 10% CDR

So was it ever considered when changing around trinity in preseason? I know a lot of Trinity champs would love having say 30% attack speed and 30 on-hit magic damage from recurve bow or say 45% attack speed and 10% CDR from stinger (which is one of the original items of trinity I might add and can prove just by making you look at the icon.)

Yes this is another Irelia player post about how the changes to Trinity in preseason still feel off. So many things are not even a multiple of 3 on the item these days and that also makes me sad about it.

Movement speed doesn't really seem like it would synergize with or suit the item as well as CDR though.

Sheen is an ability which relies around casting your abilities and weaving them between basic attacks. The stats it provides are mana (which help you cast most abilities) and cooldown reduction (which let you cast more frequently).

Those stats suit the intended purpose of Sheen perfectly.

I don't think they will be saying anything in this one. It is like they are ignoring that trinity is only feeling good on Corki. All the while Ezreal who it seems to have been reworked around doesn't even buy it since the slow on IBG is too good.

Skarner gets IBG for the perma slow.

Kindrid alright I'll give you that she can get it and use everything on it

Yasuo? He stopped buying it once other crit items were added that are cheaper and do the trick

And then there is Irelia who gets it more out of there being anything else that does the trick besides rageblade but rageblade is only really good for split pushing and laning phase since you can not stack it up for team fights most of the time. And trust me on this when I say a lot of Irelia players are only getting rage blade because it has to be done to compete with this juggernaut build meta currently.

Jax players also hate the lower attack speed of trinity this season.

This is in large part about how it got more of it's power into an RNG stat which does not apply as on hit and the lower attack speed was by all means a nerf for a lot of trinity users.

no man 6.7 skarner's get trinty.

Yasuo actually does still buys trinity in many case's (Including LCS players In LCS games)

Irelia trinity is still a considered item on her and alot of times people buy it on her just cause.
