If Zed's ult gets reverted, will you be happy?

I'm seeing a lot of posts about Zed lately. Even more than Lee Sin and Fizz combined.

Honestly, I used to think he was OP until I started using him against Platinum players and higher and realized how easy he is to counter and how useless he is in team fights.

Will making his ult high risk high reward again finally put an end to all of these cry babies?

His an assassin and he should take some risks but now he is too safe

Zed's original ult was terrifyingly sticky and damagey. It was changed for good reasons. Do Not Want.

Well people are saying the one now is way too safe. I kind of agree, but I would rather have his old ultimate than see him completely gutted.

Lately I've been using him in the jungle and I'm having a lot of success and fun. A nerf to his stats or abilities might make jungling more difficult :(

The move to current R was a nerf. Reverting it is not a good plan if your goal is to nerf Zed.

My pet nerf for Zed is to delay his ability to return to his R shadow by a few seconds. Probably 3 seconds, exact number is tunable. The idea here would be creating some ability for defenders to bait Zed into bad ultimates that get him killed; today, Zed's "all-in" is an entirely riskless affair.

But the old one was risky too. All they did was make it so that you don't have to waste your W to "undo" your jump. people wanted an undo "get in and out" quickly button and that's exactly what they did. Since when was giving someone mobility a Nerf?

They even said the same about Rengar. "Waaaah he dives in then dies waaah". Now look at the forums with people raging

No it was actually a buff. Before he got an extra shadow which was unlikely to actually add much damage.

Now he's 100% safe and can always just leave a fight

He lost damage in return for safety.

Though he's not 100% safe, he is safer. He can't jump shadows while cc'd.

Perhaps lower the duration of his shadows?
Make him have less time to escape if he makes a bad decision.

No it was a pretty substantial buff. He can tower dive effortlessly. He barely lost damage and even when the clone appeared behind them it was unlikely he was going to land a their Q.
