But looking at match history they're much longer on average in the 30+ range, think games just end more quickly when you perform poorly or don't respect the risk of roaming : /

Basically yeah if you make mistakes then the other team will snowball early, if the other team makes mistakes you will snowball early, and if both teams play about evenly then the game will be even and will probably last longer. This is how it should be.

I disbelieve anyone who says the avere match length is 20 minutes because more game that are over before 20 minutes don't end at least until 20 minutes for the surrender block. it isn't easy to literally end the game before 20 minutes

I've been in those games when someone gets a couple kills at the start and your team doesnt back off to farm, and instead keeps throwing themselves at the fed enemy like they're michelin chefs. These kind of tunnel vision tactics get punished much more heavily now than before, but if you're playing more competently the game can still stall if you know what to do.

same with teammates who refuse to challenge the enemy early game the enemy gets free farm and can push multiple towers but its okay for people because they didnt die the most in the lobby

last season as in the 2014 season right? ever since worlds 2014 released that song about working hard to win and pros were surrendering a few times and then about 90% of my games in the past year ended in surrenders more or less but very close sure i played over 1000 games in the past year so i have over 130 games that ended where people wacked the nexus to death but they usually end where people playing the game figure playing the game is a waste of time and surrender and for a long time afked to let the enemy push easier. tell me it isnt bad when enemies who may be ahead or even ask you if you are surrendering like they entitled to it or expect it

matches i play end 26 mins on avg usually at 22 when my allies give up like they expect to snowball every game with late game champions. for a game mode advertised as 30-45 mins to not even reach that range in 9/11 games bothers me
