Apparently, Riot thinks putting 30 points in any tree is "bad gameplay".

Why? Tanks aren't damage dealers. Utility tree is essentially useless, only like 2 supports are even half viable on it and the only reason its ever used off of supports is for the biscuits and increased buff duration, so that leaves only the Defense tree. Its usually worth it too.
Literally the only reason to put anything in the offense tree as a tank is for the CDR(or in Olaf's case, AS, if you're not putting points in the AD yourself).
