The current champs that interest me are
Skarner cause he seems like a good jungler with some fun things to mess with like his ult,same for nocturne
maokai cause he is a good tank with his ult
and malz cause,he seems very annoying.

Blossom of Time1 votesI would go with skarner or nocturne as their playstyles are completely different and diverse from most champions. They are pretty fun to play as and can create funny moments for you or your friends to enjoy.
EDIT: Go with what your heart wants. It doesn't matter what changes are coming, it matters if you are having fun. :D
PureSilvrr1 votesMalz is really in a bad spot right now, hes supposed to be a midlaner but hes become a support, and a lot of people want riot to fix this, but the metaslaves don't want him to be changed....id recommend noct or maokai, Skarner is very situational is some fights because of his "minigame"

and an ultimate I enjoyed using when he was free when I started lol(I used him top lane duo. it was that early) mainly cause of the funny and stupid stuff you could do with it,i also don't really have any objective champs. skarner can solo 
is more of a stealth invader and 
...well he is . Don't expect me to solo dragon,rek can do it just not very well,as all his unburrowed stuff only comes with 2 damaging moves and burrow one,and the dragon cant be knocked up so....kinda a pocket pick to mess with people. like zilean!
