Mordekaiser E + Ult Synergy?

I know Morde is on the list on a full VGU, but it's gonna take ages until that happens. So I thought why not give him a mini buff, by making his E more interesting: Giving it CC.

Idea 1: If he hits his E on the target that he ulted, it gets stunned. Idea 2: His E leaves a broken cone behind for like 3 seconds, which grounds people in it.
