Opacity for the background in the chat box

Is there any reason that one of the recent updates made it so that you have to set the opacity for the chat box each time you go into a match? Before, I would always turn off the background of the chat box, and it would stay like that for every game. After some update awhile ago, now the game doesn't save what opacity you had set for the chat box. I know this is something pretty small, but it gets annoying when I have to change it every game.

(If there is an option I'm missing somewhere, then please tell me. If not, then please fix this RITO!)
