Give Junglers and Supports a safety net.

These are the two most abused roles in the game by far. Abused as in unless they are already fed they are always just one or two exchanges away from fading into irrelevancy throughout the entire game.

Sooo many junglers plow through other junglers. In fact the best ones right now are simply the ones that can out-duel/trade all other junglers. That's not exactly fun or engaging gameplay, denying or getting denied level 2 for the first three minutes all because of a risky early play.

Junglers deserve catchup exp if behind in levels from the enemy team, and supports deserve more gold/time naturally from their support item but LESS GOLD FOR TAKEDOWNS TO COMPENSATE. Supports are insane in that they can have some assists and maybe a kill or two and suddenly be drowning in gold in comparison to the other support who is left literally sitting on boots and his unfinished support item.

For how defining these two roles are, neither of them deserve to be dead weight at any point early on in games. Period. Considering how unpopular these two roles are as well, right now in preseason would be the perfect time to address this clearly ongoing issue.

they should honestly just rebuff the jungle exp. i dont know why they got rid of catch up + nerfed exp more. it was already nerfed.

i dont like catch up exp. they shouldnt have touched the regular exp.

Jungle exp right now is a complete joke, there was one game where I had double their top player in kills, and 10 more cs, but I was 3 lvls lower than they were, why tf is that even a thing.

You realise those are the 2 biggest carry roles right?

supports with heals never irrelevant? Dont make me laugh. 800g is the Irrelevants cost.

I'd say supports are way less punishing in terms of becoming dead weight. having multiple shields/heals/forms of cc makes sure you're never irrelevant.

Junglers who get set behind are super screwed on the other end of the spectrum since the exp disparity from 1 fuck-up costs the entire earlygame, they can re-invade you with a 2 level lead and deny your farm, setting you even further behind.

Man ivern with the 2nd highest winrate is just straight up outdueling other jgs

I do not think jungle should get EXP back, toplane suffers way too much if that happens, exception being Mordekaiser but he is exceptional in more ways than that one.

Other lanes are not really safe either depending on the jungler in question, having us go back to that time when they could spam ganks like hell and not fall behind in EXP by just clearing a couple of camps here and there would be miserable for everyone but the junglers.

What is the point of solo laning if the jungler playing PVE is equally strong? There needs to be a downside for not having to interact with champions much at all when farming.

Some supports do need buffs if this present system is to be kept though, not everyone was badly affected but some were hit hard.

Best idea in the league.

My biggest gripe has always been that when support was so unpopular it slowed queue times down their solution wasn't to make support more fun or enjoyable to get more players. Their solution was to force people to play the role through auto fill.

[sg-lulu] wut da fuk rito.

Actually the game development version of sweeping it under the rug.

Supports are more or less in the same spot they've been in for the last few seasons (post-ardent meta). We can get our first item faster, and generally we have a better impact on the early game. So it's really just the junglers that are getting held back with the exp changes.

safety nets in the jg lead to the most boring jg metas ever

I dont agree I think that If you take a risk and it ends badly you and your team should be punished for it. just like if your Oppoent takes that risk and it ends badly they will be punished for it. But on the other hand Taking risks and comming out on top should put the other person ahead especially early levels of the game maybe later catch up Exp can be stronger but i dont agree early game.

Riot Seems to be trying to make too many champions that cover all the bases (as per adcs and mage mains complaining that you released X champion but why pick them when existing champion does everything they can do and better) then buff them when they dont do as well as other champions that cover all the bases rather than nerfing champions that already exist and cover all the bases too well. Caitlyn Ahri Akali Darius Draven Ezreal Jhin Jinx Kaisa one of the only examples of a ranged damage carry champion that got nerfed for being too good at everything is Kalista I think she is actually decently fine and still has busted parts on her But She isnt as Easyily productive as Kaisa Jinx Jhin Caitlyn so she is seen as dumpster but instead of nerfing the champions that are obviously overbearing in several areas you'll buff Kalista because she's bad compared to them but then make her even more unfair versus a Nocturne Shen Shyvana Yorick

Junglers after a certain point have little to no impact on top unless they hyper farm to maintain the level difference. Essentially, with the difference in lvl and the importance in dragons atm it will always be more important to gank bot lane who is of similar lvl with greater objective reward than the 3 lvl highger top lane that is much riskier. Riot also nerfed plating gold to further reduce rift hearld importance (during the same patch they said they were buffing rift) and if top still has fortification whats even the point of going top at the moment. Overall, the reduced exp puts game control on mostly bot lane or mid some games. It feels awful to be a jungler right now
