Is it time to rework Twisted Fate?

TF was always a polarizing figure in League of Legends history. Known as the first high skill and the first overpowered champion in the game. His kit feels archaic with his bonus random gold on takedowns and minion kills. But since Riot's balancing philosophy is all about removing "no counterplay" elements, couldn't we just rework him? Twisted Fate's ganks after level 6 don't have enough counterplay. He sees you if you're invisible and can cover an extreme distance and dive you under your turret. He will get there and stun you no matter what. What do you think about reworking this champion?

Pilfering extra money just totally fits Twisted Fate though.

I think he's fine, except his passive. I don't think that randomness should be part of the game. Maybe make it more stable in some way.

It is very stable though, random aspect is there only for flavour - TF is a gambler. If you are very, very lucky you might get health pot worth of gold more than on average.

Its actually not random at all it stabilizes statically perfectly around 3 gold/lasthit look up the crit random system in league for mor information

... Why in the world would they rework him?

His Passive is fine. Virtually every game, law of numbers makes it to where you're going to get roughly the same amount of gold since ON AVERAGE you're getting 4 extra gold per minion. Very rarely will this number sway more than ~20 gold per 100CS I reckon. Unless you want to bring back his prior passive (entire team gets 2 extra gold per unit kill) which I honestly did prefer.

Second, his Ultimate is hardly No-Counterplay. 5500 Range isn't even from mid river bush to lane. If you have half decent map awareness you should be able to know TF is looking to ult. Heck, whenever I'm facing a TF I ping every single time he dips out of vision. Plus if the enemy has TF, it's the same thing with any hyper ganker in the game. Play safe. Revealing stealth is fine, it's called a counter. Especially with Riot's hatred towards pink wards, kind of a big draw for him.
