Just played a ranked game where I had a Silver 1 adc while the opposing team had a Plat 1 toplane. I'm Gold 1. What is this nonsense?

This is a game I played recently, the Silver 1 is my other account. My MMR is insane on there, so all of my games look like that. I also carry a 66% w/l over there, so the matches aren't even going poorly despite the ranks.
I solo queue, so Dynamic is not a factor at all.

Your silver 1 adc has incredibly high mmr the plat 2 top has really low mmr

shit happened to me in season 3, was silver 5 but got matched against mostly low bronze players
Yea it happens every once in a while in my games too. I will have a full game of plat 1/2 players and then out of nowhere there will be a gold 4 player in my game. They have normal MMR, yet are in my high plat games like wtf?
happened the same to me. Plat V when i was playing that ranked, i got a silver 2 warwick that didnt used chat,failed smites... and the enemy jungler was like plat 3 or so so he got basically rekt

Welcome to my promos to gold 5. Consistently got paired up with teams that had multiple platinum players while my team was nearly all gold. I was like "why do I need to beat platinums to get gold? Shouldn't I just have to beat golds to get gold?"
Took me 3 tries but I finally made it.
Riot fucked up with matchmaking, I swear they need to make it so everyone in a game is within the same tier, or if you are in division 1 you can play with division 5 of the the next tier.
