Passive aggressive trolling.

This is literally the worst type of troll. That kid that picks MF mid, tank Shaco top, Heimer jg, etc. and swears he does it all the time and it's good. Yet he/she knows that they're just trolling to piss off the entire team and so they'll say super positive things to try and make it look like they're actually trying to win and so they can't be reported. This is the absolute worst type of player to have on your team and I'm so fucking tired of getting trolled by these passive aggressive A-holes. Your report will do nothing because those players continually say really positive things like "come on guys we can still win" even though they're 0/10 and basically running it down mid every time they see the enemy team. If you say ANYTHING they're the first to go into all-chat to play the victim about how toxic their teammates are. My god this community has gone down the shitter when this type of play is entertaining to people.

What do you expect? RIOT has a ban policy that doesnt punish trolls but rewards them by punishing those who snap against them. LoL is the ultimate paradise for trolls, not only are they not in any danger as long as they nice in chat, no they can even get people baned.

yes shaco tank top is very great I have played it many times trust me, if we ever meet in a game I can show you, I mean sometimes it doesn't work and I might ACCIDENTALLY feed a bit but we should still try to play seriously and win right? you wanna duoQ sometimes? : ^) I mean being that negative really brings down the positive vibes of the league community, you should try to cheer up and play no matter what happens in the games, it's not about winning, it's about having fun as a team right!? I really don't like it when people like you try to bring me down with their toxic and negative attitutde when I am trying to do my best so I hope you will better yourself and get rid of that habit :/ Thanks in advance <3

if they were to run down mid and feed, it would indeed be punishable, even if they say positive things.

but playing off-meta alone is not a punishable able offense.

people arent stupid. as the rules change, so too do the ragers and trolls.

do people really think bans are going to make these people suddenly become positive? no chance. most of them will find ways to do what they do.

The reason you get banned instead of them is because an actual asshole is objectively worse than a maybe asshole who's acting nice. I'll play the game how I want, all well within the rules of trying to win, and offer suggestions to you if you're interested. I'd expect you to do the same. If you're the first person to deviate from that and blow up, spewing all sorts of profanity about how much you think I suck, I'm not the problem. I'm sorry, that's just how it works, and how the system has been constructed to reinforce.

If you could report and ban people for being off-meta, where exactly does that end? Are we going to end up with the same 10 champs every game? All buying the same items? The place where we are right now is just fine, in my humble opinion. You probably ought to just let the trolls go, or in the case where they aren't trolls at all, just learn how to communicate with people better.

i dont think most of them do it purely for entertainment. a lot of them do it because they are tanking their mmr so they can get easier/more fun games

If they have a history of that kind of behavior and are valid reported for it then the system will pick up on it and will eventually punish them for it as well. I'd imagine that this would also be one of those cases that would require a manual review as well. As long as you don't give them the negative reaction that they want though you won't have to worry about getting punished for poor behavior yourself.
