Why does Brand do so much more damage than veigar?

Brand only does more damage with aoe. Veigar easily out damages single target.

Fire spreads. That's why.

Because they are different champions. Veigar has AOE stun while Brand has Single target.

Veigar can press R on a mage to 1 shot while brand has to burn all his cooldowns. Pun intended

because he deal % damage and his ult bounces multiple times? Brand also has more AoE abilities vs Veigar's insanely slow and easy to avoid one?

Brand actually needs a damage buff now. He falls off late game and doesn't do damage to tanks anymore.

This is probably the most subjective question I've ever seen. Depending on the build and the amount of stacks Veigar could do half or 3x of the amount that Brand deals at any given time in the game.
