Something I've noticed that is SLIGHTLY unfair: Some Champions have "out-of-combat" cooldowns

By this, I mean that some of their abilities have a countdown/cooldown that, upon ending, shows them that they're considered "out of combat".

To picture this, look at Taliyah's passive when she enters combat; it starts counting down until Rock Surfing can be used again. The same can be seen on Rengar; once that countdown on his passive ends, he's out of combat and starts to lose Ferocity.

Some Champions don't get this countdown, though, something which can mess with your intuition on when certain effects will become active (i.e. out-of-combat movement speed, Ocean Drake regen, etc). It might not sound like much, but at the very least it's a QoL annoyance.

To address this, I think there needs to be a gemstone (of sorts) on your HUD that changes color depending on when you're in or out of combat, or perhaps it fills up with a color over time, counting you as out-of-combat once it's full. I got the idea from Might and Magic 6: The Mandate of Heaven, though it works differently in that (more like a proximity sensor).

This sort of thing wouldn't be REQUIRED, but it'd help out in terms of making things fair for everyone.

Ok, let's let rengo keep his stacks -- but require 10 attacks before he can get an empowered ability -- like renekton -- who also loses fury. Or jax who loses attack speed bonus 1 stack at a time. They do this to keep the champ in balance. Rengar is already a big enough pain in the butt without getting to keep 4 stacks while he can sit there zoning you off some objective: drag, buff, jungle camp, tower, cs. If they put rengar and kha damage to more reasonable levels -- in line with other assassins for instance -- then maybe they could let him keep his stacks indefinitely. Right now though it would just be another buff he doesn't need.

You are misunderstanding. I am simply wanting everyone to have a VISUAL indicator on when they're about to go out-of-combat. This would not affect actual gameplay.

My bad. That is different and would be a nice addition. I would be surprised if they do not add some kind of indicator eventually -- Riot has been adding more visual aids like this recently.
