I've got some questions here.

A) Why is Cait getting such a heavy-handed base HP nerf

and B) How does this Janna change (nerfs aren't unwelcome tbh) add more skill to her?

Are you implying that Cait got nerfed by focusing on the base health nerf. Cause the most important number out of what you listed is definitely the attack speed growth being brought back to what it was. This is definitely a buff for Caitlyn. I hope Riot wakes up and realizes the problem is the stupid snap trap system. Zoning is strategical and all, but being able to block off the entire lane indefinitely is stupid. Just going back to old 3 max traps would be such a simple solution.

Cait laning phase is being nerfed her late game is being reverted to when she was broken

riot realised that nerfing the late game of a hypercarry doesn't make a single fcking sense

first good change i didn't see since MONTHS, i don't remember feeling joy when i read patch notes on pbe

I mean they are literally making her base hp less than Lux Sona and Anivia. The lowest in the game (except Kled). It seems hamfisted

I don't see much more skill expression in Janna's kit with these changes. It seems they've just shifted her power further into mid/lategame then anything.

The only one I can see which encourages skill expression (a tiny bit) is the E nerf. She won't be able to spam it as often early game or until she reaches midgame/40%cdr, so it might make player think a bit more about when they should cast E. Maybe W needing to get into aa range?

Her new passive is sort of interesting. Bonus aa dmg scaling with ms. Lich bane Janna? lol
