Tibbers should be a skill shot not a pop up, and why.

Annie is by far a strong mage and we are ok with that it's how she's always been and Im saying to change it, my suggestion is:

Make Annie's ult Tibbers a skill shot like Fizz's ult.

Have Annie throw the small bear in a line and when it gets to its destination it will do what it's always done, burst into flame and transform.
this is no way a change to the damages just how the ultimate is preformed

Not only would this stop the op blink pop up burst/ stun combo that we all have a love hate reaction ship with but it would open some cool more strategic mechanics, say; throwing Tibbers past the enemy to box them in.

It doesn't have to be a skill shot, but at least adding some more cast time to it seems reasonable.

if you dont already hve time, buy a Qss. its a multi purpose too, it lowers the damage she does to you, and removes CC.

or zhonya's, because when she flashes there is enough time to hit zhonyas.

Unless you have god like reaction time or scripting. You will not be able to zhonya's a flash tibber's combo.

I would make is more like Maokai sapling then Fizzes fish honestly. But just let Tibbers blow when he hits the ground. So she couLd still just flash Tibers at supper close range.

Although I have to agree with disregardable, making it a true projectile would mean just ANOTHER ult yasu could Wind wall. So this would intern Mega nerf her out of mid lane meta's. Tibbers is the only thing she has that can really punish him with while laning.

If they reduce her reliability, they will have to buff her elsewhere.

Her range is low and mobility is non-existent. Making her abilities less reliable is a significant nerf.

I don't play Annie but I think she's fairly easy to counter, even with that ridiculous ult. Yes, sometimes it absolutely sucks to be caught, but her burst is very binary. Some mages should be kept basic and simple, or mages are just gonna fall out of meta with crap champions like Yasuo having projectile negation abilities. Don't ask for Tibbers to be a skillshot just cause you can't play safe and enter in to Annie's ult range.
