Why does Jinx get more passive AS than Jax with less stacks.

MunchCrunchLunch··2 votes·1,269 views

And it isn't even her main passive

Jinx Gains 70-140% (depending on level ) bonus attack speed. ofcourse thats fully stacked. and it takes 3 autos to stack it

Jax however.

Jax gains 28-88 bonus attack speed and the amount of stacks is 8.

now. they are different champions. however. that jax passive .is his only means of steroids. jinx has her passive. and also her AOE crits with her second part of Q.

also Jinx has the safety of being ranged

Jax is 49% winrate in top lane with a low playrate

and 50% in jungle with a REALLY low playrate.

and not even his mains do that well with him..

did I mention that Jax is melee and Jinx is ranged?

jinx has higher winrate than Jax with about 10 times the playrate.

so Jinx gets almost as much attack speed at level 1 as Jax does at level 18 with less than half the autos required? what.

is there anything reasonable to justify this?

and fervor gonna be better on carries and worse on on hit champs. what else rito.

quick recap. Jinx is ranged. Jinx gets more passive as from a secondary passive on an ability. Jinx passive takes just 3 autos to maximize it. Its easier to proc because of range. Jax is melee. Jax has to use 8 autos at melee range to maximize his passive. he has no other as boosts or damage boost in general. and his passive at level 18 gives him fully stacked as of a jinx at level 3.

ridiculous.

Jinx doesn't have an AOE stun, gap closer, or innate tankiness through other skills.

This is comparing apples and Bananas

I'm not sure I understand the thought process

because hes melee and he needs to survive. he does not have the safety of a ranged carry. thats irrelevant

You just reinforced my point by stating they have two different purposes.

I don't understand what the conflict is.

You forgot to include that he already HAS an auto attack reset that increases damage(while also setting off trin-force).

let me ask you this? what is easier. to land autos from range or from melee ranged? its easier to land 8 autos from range than 3 autos from melee.

why does Jinx passive require just 3 stacks. and Jax requires 8. i mean. that isn't even her god damn main passive its a secondary passive that is superior to a melees champion ONLY combat boost.

Because jinx is an adc, which dies with bad positioning, and without peel while jax can just charge in like a b5, and smash enemies like hulking b5.

MunchCrunchLunch1 votes

that might work in b5 buddy.

Jax actually gains meaningful attack speed per level

Crett2 votes

it's actually because jinx has a lower base attack speed than jax. the stat is less effective on her

that's not to say i don't hate jinx though

jax needs a VGU

his uh. his model is QUITE old

MunchCrunchLunch1 votes

yes because Jax doesn't get 10% bonus damage on aoe autos.

Flaherty1 votes

Jax has mobility, much more tankiness, and an aoe stun

MunchCrunchLunch1 votes

Jinx has range. multitarget damage. a global ultiamate. an aoe snare. a long range slow. and an infinity scaling passive.

Primaquarius1 votes

Her Ability doesnt scale, you can just pop it 5 times or more

C4pt Chunk2 votes

I will counter your points in order: Jax can gap close, Jax can burst damage, Jax can dodge her ult, chompers are not aoe snares(they thrown traps that root and can also be dodged), slow is easy to dodge, jinx still has max attack speed of 2.5 which attacking faster against a dodge does not matter.

MunchCrunchLunch1 votes

yeah i wonder how do i get dodge on 0 second cd.

C4pt Chunk2 votes

Your rebuttal doesn't make sense as Defensive Stance lasts for 2 seconds and stuns for 1 which should be plenty of time for Jax to burst Jinx. Also saying two different champions should should have this one exact thing be the same when there are so many mitigating factors(such as Jax getting bonus damage every 3 hits) is ridiculous.

Edit: Also looked at your match history and you won the only 4 games I saw you had as Jax against a Jinx. Seems like a non-issue to me.

That passive is hardly infinitely scaling since it's 6 seconds and requires things to already be dead to work. Telegraphed skillshots that can be avoided and a snare that's more easily avoided than jax's stun. Yes she has range but that range doesn't mean a lot if the enemy is at all competent and can get into your range and burst you down in 1 second. Jinx is higher risk/ higher reward, come on you should really know this by now with your rank.

Ulquiorra9951 votes

Exactly what you said. It isn't her main passive. It's an ability she has to put points into. If it wasn't stronger than a passive then we'd have a problem, not other way around.

MunchCrunchLunch1 votes

She maxes the ability first. and look. the ability. at level 1. GIVES MORE AS THAN Jax at level 16. How is this right?.

oSEXYPLATYPUSo1 votes

she is an adc. not melee and her attack speed per lvl scaling is horrible

FaytalityHD1 votes

Because Jinx is broken in solo q one of the most popular champs as well therefore brnging in high skin revenues

I love that you are trying to compare two characters who have completely different roles in the game (One is a melee tank, while the other is ranged adc). Of course the adc, who is supposed to do damage will get more AS out of her passive than a tank, who is supposed to take damage will get out of his. Seeing as they fill two completely different roles, can you really compare these? It's like saying that its ridiculous that Janna deals less damage than Draven.
