[Kindred] Wolf attack on Crit

Kindred doesn't really feel as "kindred" it feels more as Lamb does almost everything and Wolf follows. My idea is to make Wolf attack instead when Kindred crits a target. Ofcourse it would still be the same range, but you would see wolf attacking instead of an arrow.

This would make Kindred feel more of a team gameplay wise. Because Wolf doesn't really do much expect for talking and follow Lamb. and once in a while attacking because Wolfs Frenzy

EDIT: To prevent glitchy interactions, this could be disabled during Wolfs Frenzy

Problem is that simply disabling that animation with Wolf's Frenzy is that they would have 2 crit animations, which would be confusing and probably buggy. But the bigger reason that this idea cannot work is because Lamb already attacks with Wolf with her E. For the sake of clarity.

You build crit on Kindred? Why? You know who has an awesome crit animation? Velkoz

I agree - they really don't feel like a duo champion, but rather a champion with a follower who really doesn't do anything.

Definitely thematically fitting. +1

If the enemy champions back is turned, Wolf should devour the body / be the one that last hits. If the enemy champion is facing you, on death, a single arrow will be remaining in the champions head / heart.

As a note, i feel like Kindred have a really good VO. It's sad to see that their "team/duo" style got to waste gameplay wise. Wolfs Frenzy is useful. but other than that it's sad that the only thing that Wolf does is follow Lamb and talk a bit. and once in a while launches himself at an opponent with E

People already want riot to change a champion that came out like a week ago? There a champions with much bigger problems. Mordekaiser is a huge topic right now and since they changed his name and are looking at him much more closely now people are talking about changing cass (which I think needs to be done imo) and possibly sona. So many more champions need reworks. I don't know why league comes out with so many champions what is riot gonna do when there are like 250 champions. Slow down the new champions and rework the old ones. You'll still make plenty of money...

Sorry this was a bit off topic

I also feel that consecutive crits would alternate the attacker, so you dont get really high crit and lamb never attacks

The wolf is just a pet right now... if u don't command him to atk, he does nothing... Its so different from the lore. Also @Riot, fix that Wolf's Mask

I feel like this is a good idea and a bad one. I own kindred and am perfectly fine with it, but your idea does make sense and would be kind of cool though im worried someone will just build full attack speed and crit chance kindred and make it really buggy.

We can talk about this when Gangplank gets his pistol shot animation back.

Question. If Kindreds W is up when they crit then how is Wolf in two places at once?

MÖRTIMER10/22/2015, 5:36:10 PM1 votes

Honestly, even with that. The wolf is kinda just there. Doesn't really add more than artistic value. Rito should have made the wolf a bigger part of kindreds skill shots or something.

Or why not get rid of her crit chance when wolf frenzy on... Ehh??? Yeah, I like that.

Kindred doesn't really feel as "kindred" it feels more as Lamb does almost everything and Wolf follows.

Considering both of them alternate saying while walking... "And everywhere Lamb went..." "Wolf was sure to follow..." It fits perfectly.

Their E already feels clunky and slow as it is, I don't want that happening every time I crit :x
