@Riot, Syndra changes?
I was just wondering what happend to the Syndra changes? I heard there would be some on PBE in pre-season, but none so far. Are they still comming?

They said after pre-season. They want to see how she looks after pre-season happens before doing anything else.
I think they pulled them out because they didn't have new ideas for all the abilities and wanted to put them all out at the same time so that they can properly assess her strength without ignoring any of her abilities. I would definitely like some Riot info on how that's going though, it's been a while
Although when I first played league I mained Heimer and Kayle (Heimer being hard countered by Syndra) I still enjoy playing against the character
I hope they change her for the better
What is this syndra you speak of? All I see is large minion that riot supped up with floating bubbles! (/^-^)/ seriously though riot will look at the state of her after preseason and then move forward with passive changes! Really hoping it turns out good I love my nuclear baes <3
My guess is that they're planning on doing a Mage update(not anytime soon though) as the reason they cancelled Syndra,Sona,and Zyra changes along with nerfing ap itemization prices. Apparently ap mages were op this season but they were literally either NEW op champion/kits or Mages that have always been a problem Azir,Ekko,Viktor,Cass,Ahri were all problematic and only Cass received actual nerfs (Who would have thought just putting a deathcap into Viktor and Cass' kit would be problematic,Ahri got a DFG into her kit hmm i wonder why she was a problem,Azir and Ekko just straight up had ridiculous numbers)
Veigar,Twisted Fate,and Leblanc were the other problematic mids Twisted Fate is the only balanced one but this teleport meta skews how people think,Leblanc has always been a blowupentireteamsorjustoneguy super safe way to low of cooldowns bitch,and Veigar got his Q passive buffed to all hell and Riot has no idea why he's been a problem, 5 ap for assists! I've been playing Veigar support recently and it doesn't even matter that 2 of my slots are Talisman and Sighstone when I get 200 ap just for playing the game.
Basically any mage that isn't recent and/or has been nerfed Has not been a problem this season Karma,Malz,Brand,Syndra,Ori,Zyra,Morg,Fiddle,Diana etc
