My story, and why i never surrender Today, i played probably one of the most intense games in my entire life so far,

I was at 2LP. If i lost this one i would drop to another Silver tier. So i decided to play SoloQue. I got toplane and picked Fiora. We had kindred junge, morgana mid, ashe adc, and thresh support. Enemy had, irelia, hecarim, ahri, vayne and annie.

I was against an Irelia top. I absolutely hate to play against her, so this matchup was bad for me. I was able to dish out lot's of damage early game. but i missplayed and died. She went back and got her first items and absolutely destroyed me afterwards untill very late game. I went around 1/3/2 or something in laning phase. I couldn't farm either, irelia had been pressuring lane ever since i screwed up earlier.

Morgana was doing decent. She was like 2/2/2. Bot lane was doing just as bad as me and kept dyieng to Vayne.

We kept losing towers, one after another. Untill only our open nexus remained. But we had something better. An even better defense than turrets.. Our dedication to keep playing. We never surrenderd. Even with our nexus open and the enemy more than 10k gold ahead of us. We didn't surrender.

I didn't want to fall below 0 LP. So i tried as hard as i could. I was getting more gold.. kill after kill.. from 4/5 to 7/5.. and from 7/5 to 9/6. (end score: 15/7/11)

Irelia was being annoying. I decided she would be my high priority target now and that i would focus around shutting her down. So i bought a bloodthirster for sustain (to heal her insane damage back) and Black Cleaver to pierce right through her.

With my new items. i now killed Irelia easily after she made a mistake of following me into tower range..

Afterwards there were a couple of more teamfights and people like Vayne and Hecarim trying to finish. we stopped both. After we killed 3 of them. I decided this was my chance. i tped to top, pushed the minions and went to baron and started killing it. My team quickly came to help and we got the baron buff. This helped us defend our base from their super minions.

We then pushed them out of their base, had a teamfight and killed them. we continued to push, taking 4 towers. 2 inhibitors. and lastly their Nexus. Never surrender, especially in Lower Elo's. Game's can turn around any moment.

tl;dr: we were losing, had 0 towers left. but we made a comeback by succesful teamfights and doing baron. we then finished the game and won.

I can understand this attitude in ranked, but when people don't surrender in TB and Normals, I get really http://pre08.deviantart.net/c0ca/th/pre/i/2015/136/c/c/pjsalt_by_meowwwwwww-d8tnfun.png

You have no idea how this feels, toxic people. You are an awesome person, sir.

It feels even better when a comeback happens when the enemy team's been taunting you for the entire game though via saying EZ and NOOB and stuff while playing something that's not supposed to work. EX: Top Blitzcrank (SolWolf I thought of it first.) Karthus (In general.) Triforce crit Fiddlesticks (Do I even need to say anything?)

When matches reach that long how far any one has pushed objectively doesn't really hold as much weight as who can win the team fights.

Haha I totally agree, especially in silver the comebacks are so real. Because people are starting to learn how to punish mistakes and take objectives, but we're still not good enough to avoid having throw moments in the mid-late game. It's why I also never surrender games but keep trying, because if you pull together then the game can always be swept back :)

congrats on the win
