two wonderful issues in one clip

fix your fucking game. when I root, I don't want them to be able to move which is the point of a root. second, fix the fucking elevation in this game. the game is flat, stop trying to add some depth by creating elevation difference without linear skillshot refraction

edit; actually, dont fix it. i'm done playing this trash ass game with the worst player behavior detection system and the worst developers that milk the LCS. fuck you

i watched it and he did root the real wu bc the wu's name changes to "rooted" but the wu doesn't move at all and is allowed to autoattack during the root because ryze stays in range something he is allowed to do.

for jhin it briefly shows the full hitbox and shrinks so it's understandable at being confused by it landing looked to be a pixel close hit.

Wrong, if you look at the video again slowed down you see the initial line but then when it hits me it is at a different angle.

  1. I rooted the real Wu before he casted W. Look at my abilities, I cast W as soon as he finishes his E. 2) If you watch the line for Jhin linear skill shot and then watch it actually hit it changes angles.

Nothing wrong here. Everything worked just the way it should.

You rooted a clone and the jhin W was on the edge of your hit box.

if you used your fucking eyes and looked at when I used W I rooted Wukong when he was finishing his E and before he used W.

Cast times are a bitch sometimes. But if you used your eyes you can clearly see that the clone was rooted.

You rooted a guy and kept attacking while within Wuong's AA range (keep in mind he has an ability to increase the range), and Jhin's skillshot isn't actually as paper thin as you might think.

I would just work on your fundamentals. You really shouldn't have been so aggressive against a Wukong so early in the game.

The problem is that I rooted Wu before he cloned, he then was ALLOWED to clone and displace himself backwards despite already being rooted. Second, Jhin skill shot displayed linear trajectory BUT then when you see it hit it changes the angle. Maybe you should actually watch the video instead of telling me to work on my fundamentals. I fully understand how Ryze works and how Wu and Jhin work. Small little exceptions like these ruin the game and you make it worse by saying its my fault.

you rooted the real one... and he did not move...

the Jhin is is just the absolutely horrific visual,, which desperately needs to be addressed

technially it DID hit you because it is about twice as wide as the visual.. but honestly riot... fix the fucking visual

I rooted the real one and he did move

ACTIVE: Wukong blinks 100 units away, enters Twilight Shroud old2 invisibility for 1.5 seconds and leaves behind a decoy of himself.

He shouldn't be able to do that.

On top of Jhin having terrible visuals it is literally linear rarefraction from upper elevation of midlane and lower elevation of river.

Use the little figure thing in midlane to get a good idea of where the skillshot is originally targeted versus;

This where the actual skillshot lands.

For hitbox reference use the little red circle that is under me right before the skillshot hits

While I agree a root should stop enemies mid dash, you did not cast it on him mid dash. Ryze W has a cast time. It just so happens to have finished casting after wu reached you. That is working as intended.

As for jhin W, reference swiftkitten88.

I casted it near the end of his dash but my issue is NOT because of the dash. My issue is that when rooted Wu was able to cast his clone and BLINK 100 units from clone displacing him from where he was and avoiding damage from his clone WHILE I couldn't see him. The purpose of roots is to prevent any sort of displacements. I empower rooted him which means for 2 seconds he shouldn't be able to move but he was able to position himself behind his clone and avoid the damage. Had he not been able to do that I would have killed him.
