Doom Bots was in my opinion, the BEST temporary game mode, and I would literally pay to have it back.

Please consider bringing it back soon! It would be a great opportunity to beef up AI champs' decision making across the board while also expanding a really unique game mode.

In my eyes doom bots has endless possibilities. For instance, to solve the AI not knowing how to respond to split pushes, why not let Doom Zed cast his shadows across half the map so he can harass and respond much more quickly? Or what about allowing bots to place wards at double range and 1/4 the cooldown, to help them against coordinated teamplay? The list goes on.

you guys touched up on Dominion, i honestly believe you can touch on Doom Bots. I will literally fly to Riot HQ and hug you guys if you make it happen this year. I can only imagine what kind of shenanigans could happen now, maybe Karthus would villain Garen ult everybody after ulting? or maybe Mordekaiser can have 3 dragons? oh god the possibilities

Doom Bots was on the old map. I guess they need to update it, which would take a lot of time to reprogram.

Yeah, because all these special game modes, skins, and champion reworks can be programmed by an orangutan trying to shove a spoon up its nose.

Guys, Riot is lazy. We get free awesome stuff from them, ergo they are not willing to put in actual effort for anything.

their bloated team puts out content at a pace that smite and dota laugh at frankly. You can have your head up their rectum all you like, but it'll never smell like work ethic regardless of what you tell yourself.

IDK what smite and dota put out, but I think it would be kind of hard to keep up with the stuff riot has put out in the past year like a whole new map, reworking the jungle, reworking juggernauts, reworking ADCs, reworking mages, removing multiple items while adding whole new ones, new champoins, adding hextech crafting, completely changing the que and champ select, and creating RGM. If you think this requires no work then that means you would be able to do this by your self in a couple of days right? I'd like to see you try.

Balance patching is content. The game doesn't patch itself. The basis for my comment is actual proof that Riot has been pushing out a lot of content these past few years unlike you who just said "smite and dota are better." Since I don't know how much content smite or dota put out and you wont say, your comparison literally means nothing to me.

That's not how it works. The map update was only cosmetic and had little to no terrain changes. Even if it was, the AI was coded to work around whatever terrain they encounter (to account for player-made terrain and alternate maps), not programmed specifically for the mesh of the old SR map. The programming for the AI is essentially the only thing that was changed. It would require almost no effort to get it running again. Why they haven't done it yet, well, I can't answer that one. It seems to be pretty popular. Maybe they plan to bring it back for an event like harrowing.

IIRC when doom bots was on the PBE a while ago it used the old map.

It was but that doesn't affect anything in the programming for the mode itself. They wouldn't have to alter anything, just link it up with the updated map.
