Go thank them for all the pointless nerfs gutting champions because they are god tier in competitive. Lets thank them for not being entertaining anymore because they pick the same champions every game, no variety at all, and then causing nerfs to those champions after they had their fun with them.

FFS Riot, how does that logic sound to you, focusing on the Top .1% of your players. I get it, they are the ones to abuse everything and get it nerfed.

But jeez, do recognize you have millions of other players that play this game. The casual players have a voice too.

Just tired of all the champions getting put 6 feet under. Lets just return to Season 4 when League was fun and balanced. Then they released champs with overloaded kits, game life steal and armor pen to every item...

Season 4 was a shithole of balance with Ziggs and Ori and Ziggs and Xerath and Gragas and MORE FUCKING ZIGGS at the top of the pyramid pushing endlessly and causing 50-80 minute long games with their bullshit antics with Athene's.

Top was unkillable bruisers who got ridiculous defenses from the poorly reworked tree.

And... Annie support. I hate that so much.

They should be balancing around the competitive stage because that is the peak performance and what nets them a ton of money (or so I suppose apparently). It just really fucking sucks for anyone who's not a friggin' LCS level god.

No, I completely agree that they should be doing as they are. But it is when they constantly try to make the champion perfect, just slowly nerfing them as time goes on.

What they should do is just completely gut them, and then work the way back up, It is a lot easier going up, than coming down.

How can u say it is the peak performance? LCS player aren't even the best players in the world. They are "only" the best paid players. Many casual high dia+challenger players are better than those in the LCS. Also LCS is way different from soloQ thanks to communication and such. So far riot did best when balancing around high plat low dia. Specifically balancing for a certain area harms the rest of the playerbase. Imagine the game being balanced around the worst performance e.g. bronze. Both extremes aren't good.

This is just my two cents. But I think the reasob ehy Riot nerfs these LCS dominant champions is so that other champions can see play! If Rek Sai or Shen dont get nerfed, you will continue to see them! Therr are various other readons but I think that might be an underlying factor!

Sure riot THINKS this way. But what did happen? Is rek sai being less played after all those nerfs? Or graga and elise? What about tank fizz, ekko? Seen both recently... It doesn't work out as intented. Same with those Riven buffs. She won't see play at all but i have a riven every second game now again. So thanks for that.

Actually sad i got downvoted to hell for saying i'm kinda annoyed that riot not only cates to LCS in patches but also many of their recent champ releases and reworks are specifically focused to play a role in LCS: aurelion sol, kled, talijah, yorick even (though i have to say he is good in soloQ as well so well done rito), ryze rework (think about his ult), shen rework. I could go on counting but i think you know what i mean.

I hate to say it, but we can't have our cake and eat it too. Either champions are balanced around normal people like you and me OR you have diversity in the LCS. As an example, Right now despite the nerfs Rek'sai works great in high-communication teams due to her vision, map control and CC, tier compared to EVERY OTHER JUNGLER. This means if she were buffed/had nerfs reverted so people in NormalQ like you and I could use her efficiently even without that team-based communication, you would see her pretty much exclusively in the LCS.

Now I would rather they keep her base stats low and just increase her AD scaling so she can go carry/damage in soloQ and still be somewhat balanced as a tanky/utility in LCS jungle so I don't think it is entirely impossible to get around these issues...but I hope you can see my point.

There are champions that **can't do the same exact things well **in both NormalQ and LCS and still be balanced for both of those arenas.

League is having to pick between these two groups after trying to appease both for ages and has opted to rebalance for LCS only around the time LCS is coming. I expect a good bit of nerfs/buffs for us normal people after LCS is over with.
