New Irelia Confuses Me

Can someone help me understand why irelia wins this trade? I am playing renekton top and at this point I believe we are ~level 8. Same level as each other. Before I go for the trade I see I have 130 max hp advantage, 22 armor advantage and a 30 AD advantage. Now Irelia turns on me and kills me while both MISSING her E stun and I didn't throw any of my abilities into her W....So she misplayed 2 of her abilities and was still allowed to outdmg me despite the all of the base stat disadvantages. It wasnt even an extended fight either. It was over in about 3-4 seconds and she lived by ~80hp.

I do the same thing when I play irelia. I win stupid fights I never shoulda been able to with damage that seemingly comes out of no where.

In that particularly specific situation, Renek in laning phase, HP and stats advantage, her missing her stun and not mitigating anything with her W, probably means something went horribly wrong.

did you have your empowered abilities? Did you ult? did she ult? Did minions do any damage to either side? Did you rotate auto's in as you use spells? What items was it? Like did they have special effects? Sheen, tiamat ect ect... was ignite by either party involved?
